My Opinion on JNU

Overall Rating
JNU is one of the premier institutes of India. It has a good rank in the NIRF rankings. It has a diverse environment, having students from all over India. It provides excellent education at minimal fees. The campus is huge, surrounded by greenery. This college is a safe place, especially for the female students. There are no restrictions here, you can enter and exit the hostel premises however you like.
 

Academics Rating
I have recently completed my B.A. (Hons) in the Japanese language. It is the one of the best institutions in India for linguistics studies. Languages like Japanese, Korean and German have a high demand in the corporate sector. The pay is nearly equal to engineering students. According to me, this is the only course in which you can get a handsome salary, just after the three years of graduation.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers here are highly qualified with a minimum of 15 years of experience. They create a liberal atmosphere in the class and are experts in their profession. A majority of them have completed their Ph.Ds and have foreign exposure as well. Sometimes they put academic pressure on the students, but it is for their betterment only.
 

Placement Rating
Placements depend upon the type of course you have opted for. For the Japanese language, good placements take place. The average package is around 7-8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostel facilities are provided. Many amenities are provided, students can renovate their rooms as per their choice.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Apart from hostels, the academics buildings are in excellent condition. The entire campus is Wi-Fi equipped and all the other modern facilities are provided. Every road and building is cleaned every day. This university also has one of India’s largest libraries. As compared to other government colleges, JNU has a better infrastructure. Some of the buildings are old but they have all the necessary facilities.
 

Campus Rating
We don’t have fests here unlike other colleges. But we do have elections which are similar to fests. Students get used to the calm environment of JNU rather than loud and noisy fests and events at other colleges.

    Jawaharlal Nehru University has a great history and it is still counted in the best and renowned Universities of the country. There way of interaction between teachers and students are quite different from other Universities.     Jawaharlal Nehru University is one the best University in all ways. It's cheap and affordable for all the students and it provides campus hostel, stadium, Library, and many more things in very cheap amount. It has the best professors that teach you.     My experience at Jawaharlal Nehru University has been amazing. From campus life to classroom discussion, it offers all sorts of wide experiences to learn new things.
