Student Life at PES

Overall Rating
I would say that our college is good location wise, but it has small campus and no canteen after 5 pm. There is not much of a college life here, and rules are strict here. The weather is good here. There are opportunities in this college and academic scores can be achieved easily.
 

Academics Rating
Academically, for the first year, teachers are not good, they just cover their syllabus as soon as possible and they care just about your attendance, no personal suggestions are given by them and if you are from northern India then you will face issue here as these people speak kannada and some teachers also do that.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty as I said, some are good, some are not that friendly, as it's an autonomous college, so no one really messes up with the teachers. Yeah they will help you in your studies but some teachers won't be able to help you out of syllabus so that's a negative point. And some speak kannada so that might me a problem initially.
 

Placement Rating
Placement are not good here, the big FAANG companies don't visit here but yes if you are good then you can definitely form a great network here and in Bangalore and then you can do good in off campus placements .
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is decent, there are rules in hostel as well but it's not that good, sometimes we have to face water related issues, sometimes electricity is gone during rain. The food provided in the mess is not up to the mark.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus books are available in library, library is good and canteen is not for all day, it shuts down at 5 pm and it does not have anything fancy to eat. Building and roads are good in this college. Various sports are played in the college and the faculty members also support sports.
 

Campus Rating
There is not much campus life here, yes fests happen but in those fests, there are Kannada songs playing so you can't enjoy that much. The arrangements in fests are very good so no complaints about it. There are many clubs here IEEE, GDSC, some social working clubs, then dance, singing clubs, etc.

    This college is very good. They provide good environment to study. You will get every type of books and magazines in the library and it is very quiet place. We get different type of food here.     The institute gave us a great opportunity. From our first year, we could work in our interested area. The sports facilities are better than other colleges in the area.
