Overall Rating
Datta Meghe College Engineering is a well renowned institute for Engineering. This college is famous for Civil and Infrastructure Engineering as it has various courses in that particular field. Recently, in the department of Computer Engineering it organised a biggest hackathon in Navi, Mumbai. The cash prize for that particular hackathon was around 8 lakhs. Now, it is developing a CSE branch too. The college is located near to the Airoli Railway Station.
 

Academics Rating
As I am studying Mechanical Engineering in this college, I will share the eligibility and requirements for this course. So, to join the Mechanical Engineering course you will have two options; first is after the completion of 12th and the other is by completing the diploma. The cutoff for MHT CET is around 80 percentile for anyone to get a seat in this college. But honestly speaking if you want to join this college then opt for Civil Engineering as it is the best course in this college.
 

Faculty Rating
Most of the faculties of D.M.C.E. have completed their Ph.Ds and some have done M.Tech. The amount of knowledge they have is very good. The teachers help students whenever they have any issue or doubt. They explain in such a way that the students can understand it clearly. The teachers teach by using real-life cases and examples. So the quality of education you will get will be good. Along with the academics they help students emotionally too. If any student is dealing from emotional issues, then they help the student to cope up from their suffering.
 

Placement Rating
Honestly speaking, Mechanical Engineering has descent placement opportunities. But compare to Computer Engineering or Civil Engineering it is less. But if you are deserving and hardworking students then you can get a good placement in Mechanical Engineering too. It totally depends on your efforts.
 

Hostel Rating
As of now, the college doesn't have any hostel facilities. If you are coming from out of station then you can stay in PGs or a rented apartment which are near the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
If I were to define the infrastructure of our college then I’d say it is single building with 13 floors. These 13 floors are divided into the various departments of college. They have one central badminton court for playing badminton. But according to me the infrastructure of our college is not that up to mark.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life experience is a mix of both boring and exciting elements. There are some clubs such as Marathi Mandal which makes the college life like a thrill. As every college has mixed crowds, you can expect the same in this college too.

    Overall, the campus, faculty, and the facilities provided here is average. The college is absolutely good. It provides a lot of opportunities for placement.
