My Honest College Review

Overall Rating
There are some good things in this college like, the fees are affordable and they offer some scholarships on the basis of one’s 12th board percentage. Mrs. Anuradha ma’am is a soft skill trainer; she handles the training and placement club and gives soft skills and placement training to the students.
 

Academics Rating
BCA is a three year program. The entry is restricted by at least 40% marks in class 12th. The fee is Rs. 60,000 per annum and the total course fee is Rs. 180,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty here is syllabus oriented and only care about the results. BCA is a practical course; it requires a more practical approach and skill development to become industry ready. The teaching faculty of this college lacks in this aspect. Also, they like to skip the practical lab period. They teach in class with the aid of a projector but mostly use the white board.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the college. But placements are not that good. A very few percentage of students get placed from this college, but it completely depends ones skills. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Celebal Technologies, etc. visit the Poddar International College.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of this college is very average. There is one small building containing classrooms, library, labs, auditorium, sports room, etc. The sports room is very small, only having chess, table tennis, carrom board and a gym. The library is small but you can find space to study since nobody comes there. The labs are decent but not used efficiently.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life is not up to the mark because the campus is very small. Talking about the crowd, the classmates are careless about their studies. Even the seniors do not come to the college much. Clubs are inactive especially the IT club, they never undertake any activity. Fests are conducted in this college.

    Overall Rating
    This college is good for BCA if you want an affordable college. Its fees are 60k per annum and scholarships are also available starting from 60% marks in 12th and sports scholarship as well. There is scholarship if your family member is in this college. There is no attendance issue too so if you are willing to pursue MCA or preparing for any test you can join this college.     Overall Rating
    I chose Poddar International College for my BCA because the fee here is lower than other institutes offering BCA. Fees for 3 years it is 1, 80,000 and they give merit based and sports based scholarships too. Other than this 75% attendance is also not mandatory they'll adjust it for you since it is a private institute. If you have plans after BCA like to pursue MCA from somewhere else or go into government jobs or exams you can choose to do BCA from such a college.... Read Full Review

    I chose this college because of their counseling and they were providing extra courses on good platform like Coursera. There is no as such admission criterion for students. There were no admission test rounds. There were college students available for our help in filling out the admission form. They also gave me a college tour before the admission.... Read Full Review
