Poddar International College BCA Overview

Overall Rating
This college is good for BCA if you want an affordable college. Its fees are 60k per annum and scholarships are also available starting from 60% marks in 12th and sports scholarship as well. There is scholarship if your family member is in this college. There is no attendance issue too so if you are willing to pursue MCA or preparing for any test you can join this college. Passing exams is very simple here.
 

Academics Rating
BCA is a 3 year program and this college is affiliated to Rajasthan University so RU syllabus is followed here. Entry requirement you can say doesn’t exist because students with any percentage can get admitted into this college. Here I have seen students with 40% marks too. You can enroll here and develop skills by yourself and get good placements.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty here is good but still not very great as they will only teach you enough to pass the university exam (semester ending exam).
 

Placement Rating
Yes this college has a placement cell but I have never heard anything about it. Very few are able to crack placement opportunities that too on their skills.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There's only one building for classes, reception, lecture rooms, library, sports room, labs, staff room, etc. even parking is outside college but due to a lot of problems like damage to personal vehicles there are always 3 guards outside college. There is no water purifier and overall infrastructure is not so good.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is not good. Clubs are very inactive apart from some clubs that are maintained and coordinated by faculties. Fest are conducted yearly and some events every month. Main event was conducted as Maha Manthan in 2023 combining Manthan, altius, technotrack, etc.

    There are some good things in this college like, the fees are affordable and they offer some scholarships on the basis of one’s 12th board percentage.     Overall Rating
    I chose Poddar International College for my BCA because the fee here is lower than other institutes offering BCA. Fees for 3 years it is 1, 80,000 and they give merit based and sports based scholarships too. Other than this 75% attendance is also not mandatory they'll adjust it for you since it is a private institute. If you have plans after BCA like to pursue MCA from somewhere else or go into government jobs or exams you can choose to do BCA from such a college.... Read Full Review

    As an alumni from Poddar International College, I had experienced ample exposure from academic sessions to cultural fests. Some may criticize my decision for opting BBA in this college, but the academic experience you get here is beyond belief. I believe the faculty members and regular industrial visits are one of the key components for opting courses like designing and management here.
