I had a great experience with my friends here. It may take some time for you to find your own circle of company. But you will find them somewhere, due to the number of students present in this university. My experience with the faculty was also quite good because they assisted us in every manner they could.

The reason why I enrolled here was due to my elder sister. She graduated from JSLH. I joined this university after hearing from her, about the campus and the faculty who are extremely resourceful and guide each and every student well. The course specializes in English, so all subjects here are related to the same. The entry requirements for this course are of clearing the university’s entrance exam which is held online (JSAT). Accordingly, the selection will take place. Getting into this course is easier than the other courses, if you take the admission process into consideration. Anybody who has graduated from 12th standard can take the test and enter the university. There is no specific eligibility requirement. I personally applied here because I wanted to gain skills relating to communication which would further help me in my career.

The teachers are great and would help you out throughout every step. The amount of resources they have also depends on how long they have been in this university. They are both a mix of foreigners and Indians. The administration department is also helpful, if you have issues with the course or regarding the exam schedule.

The placement cell does not really do anything; they are not helpful for providing internships. The final job placements depend on which department you are in. If you’re from the Law department, there is a high chance you will get good job placements with internships.

The rooms accommodate a maximum of 4 people. Most hostels have triple occupancy for both boys and girls. Only 2 hostels on campus have dual occupancy, which is mostly reserved for the students pursuing their Masters. Air conditioning facilities are provided in every room including the common room, classrooms, library and games room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The facility of washrooms is hygienic and clean, provided that it is cleaned regularly. The best part is the reading rooms provided in each hostel to study, which is often required by the students. The academic block consists of all rooms required for clubs and activities to take place. The vibe and ambience which is inclusive of outdoor and indoor activity arenas gives off exciting and a calm vibe. The dining hall meals are provided 4 times a day with the availability of a food court on the ground floor.

The infrastructure is good, but needs to be painted to look brighter. All facilities and resources available in the block satisfy ones needs. The academic is bit confusing and difficult to navigate around in the 1st year but once you get a hold of the areas and campus, it would look small.

Many events of each club and society, happens almost every weekend. The clubs offer a lot of co curricular opportunities. Sports fests held encourage you explore different games which may be up your alley.
