Student’s Life at JGU Sonipat

Overall Rating
JGU Sonipat has world class infrastructure and various facilities. The University has highly qualified teachers and it organise various extracurricular activities for the students. The University also provides good placements. The life at this University is nice because of its excellent campus and culture.
 

Academics Rating
I am pursuing BBA (Hons.) in Business Analytics which blend business administration with advanced data analysis which allow students to learn core business principles. This course allows students to learn industry standard software and tools such as SQL for database management, Python for statistical programming, and Tableau for data visualisation. The assessments are well structured and encourage teamwork. The exams are held semester wise, the internal exams and end semesters exams are of 50 marks. The curriculum is up to date and prepares students for the future.
The total fee of my course in JGU Sonipat is around Rs. 14,50,000/- which is Rs. 4,80,000/- per year. The University provides financial aid to financially week students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my University are highly qualified and most of the teachers have done Ph.D from top Institutions. The faculty use modern teaching methods to make the lecture more interactive and engaging. The teachers are quite friendly and treat the students well. The teachers also conduct extra classes for the students who didn’t understand the topic in the class and clear their doubts as well. Overall, the faculty members are quite approachable.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the University provides hostel facilities to the students. The hostel rooms air conditioned and well maintained with several facilities such as study tables, cupboards, etc. Various other facilities are available in the hostel such as Pool table, Basketball court, vending machines, and study rooms. The mess facility is also available and it provides a variety of food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of JGU Sonipat is huge and equipped with state of the art facilities. The campus has a dedicated health centre, library, gym, swimming pool, modern academic block with smart classrooms, food courts with more than food chains such as Dominos, Subway, Bikanervala, Burgrill, Moti Mahal, etc. The University has great sports facilities as well such as an Olympic running track, Football field, Squash courts, Tennis courts, Basketball courts, and several others.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life was very enjoyable and there are a lot of activities that students can enroll into. The University organises various fests and events which includes concerts, food fests, competitions, and much more which provides students a memorable experience. The campus crowd is very friendly. There are various clubs, societies, etc. for the students to join.

    I'll be giving my perspective solely from the law perspective since that is what I am pursuing. The University is surely one of the top ones in the country, be it in terms of faculty, course material, infrastructure, including library, common rooms, etc. It is just great.     Before taking admissions here I went to around 20 campuses and without any doubt JGU Sonipat has one of the best campuses in my opinion. I took admissions here in 2022 and graduated recently and from start to finish, University took care of everything so well. We were provided internships through our University and we got the opportunity to be a part of some of the most renowned societies of our University.
