Overall Rating
I am in second year of bachelor degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering. My overall experience is good till now and I wish it will be good in future as well. I recommend you to join this college because it is the top private engineering college in west Bengal which is located in IT hub of West Bengal.
 

Academics Rating
The Techno Main Salt Lake Kolkata provides all the bachelor degree but it is famous for B.Tech. You can join the B.Tech course by WBJEE or JEE exam or by management quota. You can find the application on college’s website. The CSE students in Techno Main Salt Lake Kolkata campus have the best faculty in the college.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are good. Their teaching skills are good. The professors also established interaction with students. Many teachers are Jadavpur University pass out students and most of them are holding Ph.D degree. The special coordinators are provided to all departments.
 

Placement Rating
The college is having their own placement cell which is highly active all the time to help the students. The curriculum of the college makes the students ready for industry.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel facility is not available in the college campus. The collaboration with the private PG is available at the distance 2 km from the college campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is average as each department has its own division. The college has an academic block, placement cell and the B.Tech department has its own building in the campus. The college campus is small.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average as the campus is small in area. There are many clubs in the college like social club, annual function club, technical club, robotics club, and many more. Several big fests are organised in the college which makes the college life more fun and enjoyable.

    Techno Main Salt lake, a well-known tier-3 College in Kolkata for engineering, BBA, BCA and PG courses. I am a 1st year student, pursuing B.Tech with CSE. I got into this college through my WBJEE rank. I got this college in second round of the counseling. Last year, the mop-up round closed at 7002 (General category) for CSE.     The overall experience is good because it has decent and understanding faculties along with humble and supportive seniors. The reason why I chose this college was its affordability, its decent placements, and minimal living expenses of Kolkata.     First day when I entered in my college TMSL Kolkata. It has a big campus with a huge two playgrounds, 2 cafeterias, and one big auditorium. At a first glance, it is very fascinating for me. When I started to attend the classes, I came to know about my faculty members who are highly educated from top universities. Fests are being conducted after every few months.     Overall this is an average college but due to its location it has upper hand in this field. It is located in IT HUB of Kolkata so there are so many opportunity for the students to excel.
