DTU University Delhi allows one to explore every possible set of skills via different method in campus. You may find various societies ranging from tech coding societies, to music societies dance society, debating society, and finance society. The university even encourages one to have a startup and may fund the first to give you a start. DTU being a very old and prestigious institute it attracts many companies and researchers providing you an excellent environment. Even in sports one can easily excel here. Its teachers don’t really force one to do academic entire year, but just to focus in class and study a bit daily. Campus is full of trees and have excellent and peaceful environment all around.

My motive to get into a tech branch was as it is the most booming as well most trending branch from some time. This branch do offers some high packages which can realistically reach up to crore. This branch requires a specific set of skill to develop which will be later required in companies. Eligibility is to qualify JEE Mains exam with a cutoff suitable for this particular branch. This course offers deep study about computer software ranging from languages to different design models. This branch provides one with a very specific direction of coding by not involving any hardware stuff of computer as in CSE branches.

Faculties here are highly experienced and are very knowledgeable about their respective fields. Many of them have already published multiple research papers. Some of them are very supportive at the time you need to publish yours or do some research while some hesitates to help, may be due to the shear amount of students are there in DTU. Every type of professional equipment is provided by the college. Even access to the topic research centers can also be given to you by the university once applied. Their teaching style are somewhat old and heritage, while some young teachers do show some cool innovative ideas to deal with the syllabus like they provide the students with excellent material and ask them to explain what they have understood from it.

Delhi Technological University campus provides decent placement as placement cell here is very active. Every tech giants ranging from Microsoft, Paytm, Google, etc. to finance company come to DTU time to time. Average placement in tech branch ranges around 20 LPA. While for core branches it varies between 12- 15 LPA. In tech branches over 80% students are provided with the placements and the remaining 20% left for higher studies. DTU also provide internship opportunities during 3rd year of the college based on the skill set and CGPA.

DTU do provide hostels but have a limited seating capacity. Girls are provided with the hostels for their safety. Even though there is a fix time for girls at night at which the gate close it is seemed a bit relax in boys’ case. DTU do have both type of hostels including AC and Non AC hostels. Rooms ranging from single, double, and triple. In room they provide you with bed some time with mattress some time not, an almirha and a desk. In hostel there is a badminton court and an entertainment room which are equipped with the TV for entertainment purposes.

In DTU you will find different departments in separate buildings. Some buildings are new and are really modern with every advanced feature like automatic projector with writing screen for teachers with podium. Even in the old building of DTU, AC and heaters can be seen with projectors as well. Every sort of amenities is available like computer labs, chemistry lab, physics lab, mechanical lab, and various more. Robotics lab has various types of 3D printers as well. Academic blocks are generally name like AB 1, AB-2, etc. Sports ground is also there for cricket and football. The campus also has badminton courts, kabaddi court, tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, cricket nets, etc. Library here is very huge having thousands of book ranging from academic books to magazines to research paper, etc. Computer labs here are equipped with latest devices like i7 processors and huge monitors. DTU also provide us with 2 different auditoriums.

In DTU life never stops you will see fests happening every now including fresher’s, annual fest, farewell, food fest, and festivals fest which keeps life in DTU moving and also help the students to learn how to interact, manage, and organize at the same time this also help the person to work on their personality development. There are various societies which one can join. Other engagements activities may include sports, robot, or space societies which also help you to develop your skill set. Crowd in DTU is huge you will be able to see students in every corner due to the huge intake size. Various other societies like singing, dancing, etc. are there, which one can join according to their will. Big events like cricket matches are telecasts in the auditorium for huge college crowd to gather up and enjoy together.
