VIT Bhopal University - Good placements, but average campus life

Overall Rating
Overall the experience was pleasant. I got placement offers from 3 companies. Friends were a major part of my college life that made it bearable. The campus isn’t well made as it is still under construction. The placements were very good. The faculty members were extremely helpful and made sure that all of the doubts were clarified.
 

Academics Rating
I was a part of Computer Science with specialisation in Health Informatics. The academic requirements for this course are PCB in class 12th. The subjects were totally relevant to the course and to the industrial requirements. The entry is based on the rank of VITEEE. The admission to the course is based on the rank obtained in the exam.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are doctorate and are very helpful. All of the faculty members are very thorough in their respective domains and make sure that the concepts are clear to every student. The faculty members are also very supportive and friendly due to which, interaction with them is very easy and effortless.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in VIT Bhopal University. Placements are a major part of the degree. The curriculum is set such that the final year is dedicated totally to the placements. The highest package till now is 50 LPA. Placement cell made sure to focus on every student in terms of their resume, grades, projects, mock interviews and much more.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel life is not good in the campus. The campus is still under construction. The food wasn’t up to the mark. The water too wasn’t fit for drinking. The hostel staff and guards were not very cooperative.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus infrastructure isn’t up to the mark as well. There is no defined play ground. The auditorium is not so big. There is one basketball court. There are two small cafeterias. The campus is still under construction so there are still areas that are restricted.
 

Campus Rating
VIT Bhopal Campus life is average. There are a lot of events happening each week. Numerous clubs are there to enhance the experience. The fest Advitya is also okay, not very good. It’s a three days fest with multiple activities. There are a lot of festivals that are celebrated every now and then in the college.

    The University has very good and vibrant campus. The hostel, environment and teachers are good too. My relatives recommended me to join this University. If you don't get into NIT or IIT or any government University then this is an good option. The University is very popular in the IT sector. Moreover, many IT sector companies are present in Southside. So the University is very popular in South too.   • Cultural Diversity and Campus Life at VIT Bhopal University

    VIT Bhopal is a decent and good University and there are many good facilities like having good hostels, FFCS system, and the doctorate faculties to train the students for future. Also the placement stats of VIT Bhopal are decently good and students can take admission in this University. The campus is spread in 300 acres and is a lush green campus.     VIT Bhopal is an average university with decent placement opportunities and average campus infrastructure. Students get good opportunities for participating in the extracurricular activities. The exposure we receive here is amazing as students from all around India are studying here which creates a good competitive environment.
