The KIT's College of Engineering is the best institute for Technical education and innovation. The Campus of the college is huge and is located at a peaceful location outside the city’s disturbance. The educational pattern followed by the college is very much impressive and understandable compared to other colleges in Kolhapur. The Placements in the college are much higher as compared to various other colleges in Kolhapur. The main facility of the college due to which I choose this college is their placements and teaching methods. The college has tie-ups with various industrial companies through which students get many opportunities to gain knowledge.

I have been enrolled in this college for my degree as B.Tech in CSE (Data Science). This course is made for the students who are interested in working as Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, etc. Students who are better in Mathematics and Statistics can apply for this course. The eligibility criteria for this course are scoring more than 80% in 12th Board and more than 95% in MHTCET exam.

Faculty in KIT's College of Engineering is a team of industry experts who are in teaching for more than 20 years having better experience in training students in IT sectors. In KIT's College of Engineering for each and every branch there are teachers and mentors who are much skilled in the field they are teaching in. The faculty in the college is very supportive towards each and every student. The faculty pays attention towards every student and guides them in their career to achieve the goal they have dreamt of.

Yes, there is a placement cell in KIT's College of Engineering. The placement cell of the college makes sure that each student admitted in the college is placed in a good company with better packages. The placement cell conducts trainings in vacations as well as weekends to make sure that the student is trained properly for the placement drives. The KIT's College of Engineering is famous in Kolhapur for its placements.

The infrastructure of KIT's College of Engineering is spread in 30 acres with all the modern facilities for the students. In KIT's College of Engineering there are MAC Labs for each branch. In fact last year Maura Lab was introduced in the college to make 3D projects in the college. There are 3 canteens for students that are very much clean and provide best quality food for students. In the campus there are Touch HD projectors that help students to learn more specifically. The College is situated in peaceful environment and there are various trees in the college that makes the college better for gaining knowledge. The college has big sports ground that encourages students to participate in sports and maintain fitness. The college provides 4 parking places to the students ensuring safety of the vehicles of students.

The campus life in KIT's College of Engineering is the best campus life. In the college there is a cultural fest known as Meraki where students enjoy a lot for three days. Before Meraki there is a cultural week where students have to wear their attire according to the specified days. Before cultural fest there is a national level event conducted known as Pioneer where various college level and department level technical events are organized and where students from various colleges participate. There are various college level clubs in KIT for example, Rotaract club of KIT Sunshine, E-cell, Cultural Club, Department student association, etc. My campus life was awesome for the four years and I am in the last year of the college now and I would say KIT's College of Engineering is the best college of our town that is Kolhapur.
