Great University Providing a High Return of Investment.

Overall Rating
The Jadavpur University has a great reputation. It has a good NIRF ranking in the country. This university has very low fees for the completion of B.E. You only need 10k to fully complete your degree. It has great campus placement opportunities in all sectors like Core Coding and Consulting Analytics. Basically, the university gives you all the opportunities and advantages that an IIT can provide with higher fees.
 

Academics Rating
Our course is specified for Instrumentation which includes studies in the field of Automation. To get admission in the Jadavpur University you need to clear the WBJEE exam with a good rank or the JELET exam for lateral candidates. You must have more than 60% in your higher secondary exams with the subjects Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculties are highly qualified in their specific fields. They have great teaching experiences. Most of them are student friendly. If you have any doubt related to a subject or specific topic they will clear your concepts.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the Jadavpur University has a great placement cell. It really helps to arrange placement drives and connect students to the hiring companies.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, this university has hostel facilities in the campus. The boy’s and girl’s hostels are separated. It has good food and bathroom facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus has various Engineering departments like Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, etc. So every branch has a separate building with enough number of classrooms, appropriate labs and canteens. It also has a good and well structured library where you can get many academic books as well as books for competitive exams.
 

Campus Rating
This university’s overall campus life is very good. There are no strict attendance criteria; you can go the class of whom you wish to go. But attending the labs is mandatory for everybody. There have many student clubs like the Chess club, Science club, Automation club, etc. You can participate in these clubs and contribute your insights. The Jadavpur University conducts various fest like Srijan, Cippus, Sanskriti, etc.

    Jadavpur University is tier 1 university and it is better than few IIT's and NIT's. Most important thing that you get here is JU tag. Alumni network is amazing and has very helpful Senior.     It has been less than a year that I joined this university. Till now, my experience is one of mixed feelings. The placement stats of Information Technology (my branch), very less fees compared to 99.9% of engineering colleges in India, language (Bengali), and good academic culture and to be honest familiarity with the city of Kolkata were the main reasons that compelled me to join this university out of the options that I had at that time.     Overall Rating
    Our university is a tier 1 state public university with NIRF 2024 rank 12th in Engineering Category. Placement is very good (up to 100%) in some departments like Civil, Construction, Electrical, Mechanical, etc. Overall placement was 95% last year.     The overall experience of the university is superb. I'll describe each aspect in the later section but here let me give an outline of my experience. Jadavpur University offers the best ROI in India, the fees is just 2400 and getting an average placement of 10 LPA (20 LPA for CSE). There's no 75% attendance policy, 45-50% is enough.     Jadavpur University is one of the most prestigious institutions of India, particularly known for its Engineering courses.
