My overall experience at National Institute of Technology, New Delhi

Overall Rating
So this college is still growing and is under construction. The strength of every batch is not that much, so the teacher student interaction is quite good. In upcoming years NITD will surely be among top NITs, so you should definitely consider this college.
 

Academics Rating
NITD provides B.Tech and M.Tech as of now, there are five branches CS, ECE, EE, Mechanical and Civil in B.Tech. Two more branches Aerospace and VLSI are expected to be added from this year onwards. As we all know if anyone wants to take admission in any IIT or NIT then the only way for taking admission is JEE.
 

Faculty Rating
Professors here highly qualified. Almost each of them is from some NIT or IIT and they are really helpful as well. Talking about their teaching styles some of them really enjoys teaching life if you show interest in that subject they will teach you really well while some of them are just do not even look at students they just finish their lecture and go.
 

Placement Rating
Placements here are decent enough like average CTC of ECE is somewhere around 17 LPA. If you dream about that 1cr package then it is not the place for you.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels here are really good, it won’t be wrong if I say like one of the best among the top NITs or IITs. In first year your hostel will be in Narela which is 5 km away from college, from 2nd year onwards hostels are allotted in campus itself. AC and Non AC both rooms are available in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is really good like it’s so new that everything is just well maintained and highly equipped with top notch technology. Our college is still under construction so as of now there are three buildings in the campus named mini campus, startup block, admin block and canteens.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is decent enough like not that good. Crowd here is really amazing you’ll find people from everywhere. Talking about fest so that’s the sad part because NITD fest aren’t that huge or something to be proud of, so yeah if you have that image of fests like some big celebrities will be coming as guest then that’s not the case.

    My overall experience in NIT New Delhi as of now is great. All the teachers and faculty here are very cooperative. The students here are also very friendly and the seniors were supportive.   • State-of-the-Art Classrooms and Sports Facilities at NIT Delhi

    I got 99.3 percentile in JEE Main the main reason I choose Delhi is that there will be a lot of exposure to industries and you will not have any transportation problem (mentioning this as I am from Andhra Pradesh).     NIT Delhi is a premier engineering institute known for its meticulous academics. It has good faculty and state-of-the-art infrastructure. Although the campus is relatively small compared to older NITs, it provides a conducive learning environment with good industry links. Placement opportunities are improving.     First of all, the location of the institute is an absolute wonder. We all love the natural beauty and its denseness on campus. The campus is relatively cleaner than the main city. The classrooms are maintained according to the standard. The vegetarian mess has a good taste. The busy schedule will be relieved in the evening with the friends.     As everybody knows about a National institute, I also worked hard and cracked JEE Mains exam to get the institute. NIT Delhi is really a great institute in true meaning. I choose it because of the placements and infrastructure of the institute. Here we are provided best facilities with a great knowledge given by our faculties.
