IIT Kanpur Review

Overall Rating
IIT Kanpur is one of the top 5 best campuses in India. It is well equipped with all facilities including technical, sports, cultural, or fun. We have 1100 acres of beautiful lush green campus with lot of trees, peacock, beautiful places to visit, and study.
 

Academics Rating
Academic is tough but you can manage if you’re a smart worker and follow advices from good seniors and study in classes. Try to complete assignment yourself and try to get benefit of academic flexibility as much as you can. You must maintain a good CPI and never take pressure of anything. You need to work at your natural pace, but keep academics in priority list. Always remember a good CPI adds a lot to a peaceful and enjoyable campus life.
 

Faculty Rating
Our faculties are highly experienced and full of knowledge and skills. They are very good at research and help their students to continue the same. They prepare teaching content with full sincerity and add a lot of stuff to it. There is lots of knowledge which we can gain from them. Few of them are very good persons and can teach us about life also. Grading varies faculty to faculty and depends on average score of batch.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we have a dedicated placement cell run by students.
 

Hostel Rating
There a 14 halls of Residence including 9 for UG students. Few of them are newly built but many of them have old structure. Offers all facilities except attached washrooms. We have hall canteens that remain open till 2 pm. Here you can get anything you want.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Lecture halls are awesome. We have RM building, Student lounge, PK Kelkar library, Techno Park, and Faculty building with spiral stairs. We have a dedicated sports complex, a big Auditorium, a big Open Air Theatre, Swimming Pool, and Gym. Then we have our two shopping complexes. We have many academic buildings which have centralized AC and are open for 24hrs.
 

Campus Rating
Best campus life. Inter hall movements are allowed. We have OAT, MT, AirStrip, Mama Mio, Old shop, E-Shop, New SAC, Old SAC, Sports complex, swimming pool, Park 67, Sky walk, library fountain, Many canteens, Nursery, Skywalk and many more hidden places where you can enjoy your campus life to fullest. You name any club and we have it. Our fests are best.
