This is an excellent south campus college in the heart of Delhi. It is easily accessible through metro and buses. This college is near Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (SBSC). Overall, the faculty is well qualified, friendly and good. They provide practical knowledge to the students in order to make them industrial ready. CVS has been accredited grade 'A' with a CGPA of 3.05 by NAAC.

A candidate must have given the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after class XII Board Examinations for admission into undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. Marks scored by the candidate in one language, two domain subjects and accountancy or mathematics/ applied mathematics is taken into consideration out of a total of 800 marks.

The faculties of this college are excellent. They are famous authors and editors of books in the DU Circuit. The faculty at CVS is dedicated to providing high-quality education, fostering a supportive and stimulating academic environment. Their blend of academic rigor, practical experience and commitment to student’s success makes the college a premier institution for vocational and academic studies. Many faculty members are involved in cutting-edge research and have published papers in reputed national and international journals, contributing to the advancement of their respective fields.

The placement cell of this college is called Aspire, which has both students and teachers. It is very active. The highest package of my batch was 24 LPA and the average package was around 6-9 LPA. The top recruiters include KPMG, Lenskart, TCS, Wipro, Boat, Reliance, etc. Approximately 50% of students got internships from different companies. Around 80% of students got placed, while the remaining students pursued higher studies or prepared for competitive examinations.

Currently, there is no hostel facility provided by the college administration to the students residing outside of Delhi. As a result, these students have to resort to nearby accommodations such as Paying Guests (PGs).

The classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids including projectors and audio-visual equipment. This facilitates an interactive learning experience. The library is well-stocked with a vast collection of books, journals and digital resources. The campus is equipped with modern infrastructures including spacious classrooms, seminar hall, conference room and well-maintained lawns. The college cafeteria offers a variety of affordable and hygienic food options. CVS’s infrastructure consists of old and newly built buildings in the campus. The campus provides a pleasant and conducive environment for both academic and extracurricular activities.

The name of the annual cultural fest of this college is ‘Tatva’. It is held in the month of February every year. There are many active societies in this college which helps in the overall development of students. These societies help students to build bonds with each other. The crowd of this college is good and diverse due to the presence of many students from different backgrounds.
