College of Vocational Studies is the only Vocational College in Asia. It is a part of the South Campus. The college building is just like other colleges of Delhi University (red brick). The college has an amphitheater located in the centre. It has 3 buildings, Old Building, New Building and Swami Vivekanand Block (latest building). There is not as much strictness regarding attendance or studies. The college societies hold events and seminars often. There is inconvenience in administration work. If you are going for professional courses like Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelors in Business Economics, it is one of the very few colleges that offer these subjects. Overall, it is a decent college but needs help with the infrastructure. The college also has a Women Development Cell.

I opted for the course 'Bachelor of Management Studies'. It is a Bachelor’s course for those who want to pursue Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in the future. It is a more practical course than Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA). You can get into this course through the CUET exam. The subject combination required is English + Mathematics + General Test. The total score is out of 700. You need to have studied English and Mathematics in 12th standard to be eligible to be able sit for CUET exam. It is a better alternative to BBA and is much more diverse course.

The BMS faculty in College of Vocational Studies is quite satisfactory. The faculty members are either PhD degree holders or currently pursuing the same. They have teaching experience from other Delhi University colleges as well. Most of the teachers take regular classes and are interested in the subjects for which they are assigned. They also help with the study material, providing book suggestions, sharing online material and past year question papers. They are a bit strict when it comes to internal assessment but it is a good thing.

Yes, the college has placement cell.

The college building is quite old and needs repair and maintenance work. There are only fans in classrooms so it gets quite hot in summers. The new buildings are much better. There is a library with enough seating space and air conditioning. The canteen of the college is fine as it provides food items with reasonable pricing. The college has a basketball court, cricket and football ground. The washrooms need urgent attention. There is a separate cultural building in the college for cultural societies. The seminar hall also air-conditioned. Classrooms of new buildings are outfitted with projectors.

The college crowd is one of the highlights. It has a pretty good crowd with friendly seniors. There are no issues of bullying or ragging. The college usually remains bustling during the start of semester. There are multiple clubs and societies including Book Club, Music Society, Dance Society, Fashion Society, Drama Society, Enactus, North East Society, Departmental Societies (Commerce, History, etc.) and more. The college also conducts events and fests.
