Overall Rating
The university offers a wide range of programs to provide both foundational knowledge and specialized expertise to the students. The professors were always approachable and they offer guidance beyond academics, including career advice and research opportunities. The campus provides wide range of opportunities related to sports and extracurricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
The university provides better scope in engineering field in the degree of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) with 50,000 course fees and 50,000 hostel fees. The entry requirements are to qualify the secondary level examination with specified education board. The admission process is quite easy and simple.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of university are well educated and expert in their area of teaching. The faculties use different styles to teach various topics. Faculty members engage students with various projects and activities to make learning an interesting and engaging process. The faculty members are also available after the class hours for additional help.
 

Placement Rating
The university has tied up with various industries and companies to provide internship and placement offers to students timely. The university engages students with real world projects and conducts various activities to make them placement ready.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is provided with various facilities and quality food in the messes. The hostel rooms are provided to two students with their own bed, almirah, desk, and chair. The students provide their own plate, spoon and glass for food.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Campus infrastructure is very large with various facilities like sports playgrounds, libraries, class rooms, smart class rooms, laboratories, workshops, computer rooms, and more. The infrastructure encourages innovation and entrepreneurship through dedicated incubation centers. The campus includes sports like kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, and more. The library is well equipped with lots of books and other facilities.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life of the university is quite surprising and full of fun. The campus conducts various activities, programs and events for creating an engaging and lively environment. Various technical activities, sports activities, dance performances and singing activities are also organised in the campus. Award functions are also organised for rewarding excellent students in their respective areas.

  • BTU is a small college that make students dream big

    I prepared for IITs but due to lack of facilities in Bikaner, I couldn’t reach there. However, this is not the excuse as the city has more IITIians than many other 2-tier cities of India. Keeping the goal if IIT in my mind, I reached BTU Bikaner as it one of the top ranked engineering colleges in the state.     BTU formerly known as University College of Engineering and Technology is a government college and one of the best in Rajasthan. When I joined the college, the name of the college was that but in 2017, it was changed to Bikaner Technical University. The admissions are based on the score of JEE and then we have to fill REAP form. Post that counseling is done and seats are allotted.
