Honest review of Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University

Overall Rating
University is very good and peaceful. I'm studying here from 2022 and I've experienced that overall college is very good for the students who are interested to do study with the scenic beauty of mountains and range of Himalayas. The university has almost 7-9 buildings for academics and three story canteens with the scenic beauty of mountains.
 

Academics Rating
I've got admission through the entrance exam which is conducted by the National Testing Agency. The name of entrance test is CUET which is common for all the central universities. Admission process is very simple and clear; if you got your name in merit you can get admission in the university. If you want to prepare for the judiciary and civil services exam then this university is best for such exams because here the environment is very peaceful and relaxing for studying.
 

Faculty Rating
We have best faculty in our department of laws. We have our Head of Department Dr. Ram Prakash, who is also the board member for judiciary civil judge interview for the state of Uttarakhand. We have some more professors who also have the doctorate degree in law. Every teacher is well experienced and has very good skills to teach students.
 

Placement Rating
The university offers good placements to its students. Students here get placement in very big law firms in Delhi, Dehradun and Nanital.
 

Hostel Rating
The university has 4 hostels two for girls and two for the boys. Hostel fee for 1 year is about 3500 and for food monthly you have to pay 2400. Food is good and healthy. Hostels have only vegetarian options in food. So that's a good thing for those who are vegetarian.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College infrastructure is very pretty and adorable because the campus is on the top of mountain with the view of Himalaya range. In this place all 12 months are winter season. You don’t need any fan or AC for Summers because the average temperature of is about 15-20 degrees most of the time.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very rich and famous for its scenic beauty of mountains. The campus has separate department for the entire course. We have 2 story building for department of law. Every department has their own library so you don't have to go anywhere to study as you have your library in your department only.

    HNBGU is the Uttarakhand central university. It has much number of applicants. It has three campuses in Uttarakhand and many colleges affiliated to it. All three campuses are very beautiful and one gets an opportunity to be close to the nature. The environment in the college is very vibrant. The fee structure is also very minimal....
