My Candid Views on HNBGU Garhwal

Overall Rating
My overall experience at the university is good as there is a good environment for studies here. The factors that made me choose this particular university is because it is budget friendly with central university status. I found out that this university gives much more time to focus on extracurricular activities or studies for competitive exams. Many well-educated faculties are GATE qualified here. The university provides B.Tech degree at low cost too.
 

Academics Rating
I choose Electronics and Communication Engineering course because of its future scope and my interest in Electronics. The eligibility criterion is the CUET exam only. Firstly you have to give CUET exam then select the course at Samarth portal and then wait for university merit list. After merit list, you have to visit university for physical verification at Srinagar Uttarakhand. There are sessional exams and then semester exams only.
The fee of my course is Rs. 28,190/- for first year and Rs. 23,190/- for remaining years. There is registration fee, which is Rs. 100/- only.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well educated and qualified here. Most of the faculty has their bachelor degrees from our university itself and are currently teaching here. The method of teaching is blackboard. The problem solving abilities are good of our faculty. There is not so much bond between teacher and student at our university but they are approachable and quite helpful also.
 

Placement Rating
Currently there is no active placement cell, but this year’s average package was 2.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is quite good. It is three seater, with beds, cupboards, tables and chairs. The hostel fees is also very less.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is quite big and is divided into two parts, first one is Birla Campus and other is Chauras Campus. There are many classrooms with 70 to 80 seating capacity. There are academic facilities like library, labs, seminar hall and auditorium. There is only one canteen and there are sports grounds too. There is medical facility available 24/7 for students. My favorite part of the university is campus.
 

Campus Rating
My overall university life is average. There is not so much crowd in our university. There are fests like university cultural fest and Ananta fest. It is organised by our B.Tech department on fund.

With a good infrastructure and all the facilities, surrounded by mountains and in the lap of Alaknanda river, it attracts students to choose it.     University is very good and peaceful. I'm studying here from 2022 and I've experienced that overall college is very good for the students who are interested to do study with the scenic beauty of mountains and range of Himalayas.     HNBGU is the Uttarakhand central university. It has much number of applicants. It has three campuses in Uttarakhand and many colleges affiliated to it. All three campuses are very beautiful and one gets an opportunity to be close to the nature. The environment in the college is very vibrant. The fee structure is also very minimal....
