Ramanujan College B.A Review By Kratika Ariwan

Ramanujan College is one of the very good colleges of DU for Psychology Honors. I've chosen this college because of its availability for courses related to Psychology and not to forget, it was my interest in Psychology which encouraged me to pursue this course.

Choosing BA (Hons.) in Applied Psychology has been one of my good decisions in life. The course offers both theoretical as well as practical knowledge. I also gained in-hand experience of dealing with patients. The course includes various subjects such as Health Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Youth Psychology, Neuropsychology, etc. One should enroll themselves for this course if they have interest in psychology and wants to make a good career with it. It offers a high scope for career opportunities.

Faculty is average for this particular course in the college. There are a few teachers who are cooperative but many of them do not behave professionally and behaves rudely with students. Although there are many teachers who are good, always available to solve doubts and guide students. Mostly teachers have done their Doctorate, hence they have good experience of teaching.

The college has a three-floored building (new building is under construction and will be completed shortly). It also has enough area for canteen, a small café to chill out in free time, Nescafe to build thousands of memories with friends, a large ground for events and sports activities, and a good library with enough books.

Overall campus life is very subjective to each student i.e., how much introvert or extrovert a person is. Although in my case it has been a wonderful journey with few of my friends. Enjoyment opportunities with friends are always available out there. There are many societies like for arts, music, dance, women empowerment, sports, and even for academic affairs. Joining them will make one's life more interesting in college.
