Overall Rating
This University is very good for the Computer Science Engineering and Electronics Engineering, which is why these are its famous branches. I have chosen this University due to its affordable fees. Being a State Level University, it affiliates around 952 Institutions. You will enjoy your campus life here. Here, students are also encouraged to participate in events held at prestigious Institutions such as IIT Kanpur.
 

Academics Rating
I have taken admission in B.Tech under Computer Science Engineering offered by CSJM University Kanpur. The admission process is very easy as seats are allocated via CSJMU counselling. You will definitely get good knowledge as University always follow new academic plan so students can learn many things. They also update their syllabus according to need.
You have to pay the entire program fees of University at the starting of the first academic year. There is no installment system for senior students. Fees will be decided by University during the time of admission. Tuition fees will be approximately Rs. 4,60,600/- (overall) for B.Tech. There will be no discount for any category. You have to pay full amount but you will get surely scholarship from UP government.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very helpful and they will support you throughout your course journey. Faculty members have studied from IITs and other reputed Institutions. They will teach you with the help of presentations and group discussion. Problem solving abilities of faculty are good. You can make good bond with your faculty but you have to be disciplined and respectful.
 

Placement Rating
Placement Cell of the University can be better though. However, it will help you in skill development.
 

Hostel Rating
CSJMU Kanpur has total 6 hostels, out of which 2 are for boys and 4 are for girls. Names of boys’ hostels are ‘Shivaji’ & ‘Swarn Jayanti’. Female residences are called ‘Ganga’, ‘Kaveri’, ‘Saraswati’, and ‘Triveni’. In one room, only 2 students can stay. Mess food is best. They provide 4 meals in a day. Hostel fees for this year is Rs. 80,100/-. Hostel rules are very strict.Hostel fees for this year 80100 this will change every year hostel rules are very strict
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of the University is very good. Campus area is about 265 acres. For very branch, they have their own department. In all the classrooms, ACs are installed. University has cafeteria. Court Stadium and Running Track are present as well. University has one auditorium and one library.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is very good. You will find huge crowd in Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur. Many clubs are present & you can join in any of them. One grand annual event is also held.

    My overall experience at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur was good. I chose this University on my parents’ and relatives’ recommendation. This University was earlier known as Kanpur University. I want to talk about my first day at the campus. So when I got admission at the University, the first 7 days were just for orientation of the students. Then, after these 7 days, regular classes are started.     If I talk about my overall experience at Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Vishwavidyalaya or we can call CSJMU Kanpur, it was average. This university was nearest from my home & has best and highly qualified professors and huge campus and there are many opportunities for co-curricular activities.     It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch.     My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute.
