UIET KANPUR

Overall Rating
My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute. My over-all experience in this institute is very good as it gives proper University exposure and healthy atmosphere. Anyone whose rank is above 1 lakh may go for this collage.
 

Academics Rating
This institute was established in 1998 with the motive of providing technical education by ex faculties of IITs. It provides B.Tech in six traits (CSE, IT, ECE, CHE, CSE-AI and Mechanical). Admission is based upon your JEE rank through University's portal. Form fee is Rs. 1000 and there are three rounds of counseling. I am pursuing B.Tech here.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are supportive and well educated. Teachers did there PhD from reputed institution such as IITs and AKTU. Every department of UIET Kanpur has enough faculties for teaching and lab works. They use both digital and manual method of teaching. They provide thorough notes of each topic they are teaching. Same goes for exam as well nothing is from out of the topic teacher taught.
 

Placement Rating
There is dedicated placement cell inside the university which aims to invite companies. This year Walmart, Infosys, TCS, RSPL and many more companies visited the campus. Highest package was 23 LPA by WALMART. Most of the IT students got placed. This placement cell is headed by University senior faculties and Volunteered by 3rd year students.
 

Hostel Rating
University has boys and girls hostel inside the campus. Hostel fees is around Rs 64,400 including mess charges. Hostel rooms are allotted in sharing of two students. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Hostel host various inter hostel competition and provides sports facilities as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University campus is very beautiful. There are lush green garden and well built infrastructure and building all around. There are separate departmental building. Central library, stadium, gymnasim, Central administrative building, cafeteria inside the campus. All building are well maintained. Classrooms and labs are well equipped with instruments and digital boards.
 

Campus Rating
University has very decent crowd studying in different courses. This institute provides exposure and interaction between different courses of students. Clubs like Coding, Hobby, Film and literary clubs is available. NSS is also there. Various fests like tech mela, ethnic day, freshers and farewell are conducted in campus. There are various opportunities to participate in various extracurricular activities.

    It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch.     I am studying at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and I am perusing my B.Tech in Computer Science from this university. It’s a really wonderful college of engineering in Uttar Pradesh. It has a big campus. It has one of the biggest college stadium in Uttar Pradesh. In this college we have many type of stadiums like cricket, and volleyball and badminton.     Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the best universities in U P. It provides many courses and engineering is one of them. The university campus life and infrastructure is very good. It provides many facilities like hostel for both girls and boys, gym, swimming etc. Faculty of the university is very friendly in nature.
