An Overview of My Learning Experience at CSJM University Kanpur

Overall Rating
My experience at CSJM University for the BCA program has been great. The University provides a good learning environment infrastructure and opportunities for participation in cultural and technical fest. Placement and industry exposure can be improved. Overall, University has helped me develop both technical and personal skills for higher studies and career prospects.
 

Academics Rating
The BCA program at CSJM is a 3-year undergraduate program that provides knowledge in computer application. Admission is based on merit in 12th class from recognised board. The admission procedure consists of online registration application, submission document, verification, and fee payment. In my opinion, curriculum needs to be updated.
The course fees in is affordable as compared to many Private Institution. The annual fee is around Rs. 1,60,000/- for tuition, examination, registration, and others. Scholarship is provided to students who belong to SC, ST, OBC, and EWS. UP Government scholarship is available as well & students who belong to EWS can avail this one.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of my department are supportive and approachable. They solve us academy doubts. In addition, regular class assignments and practical sessions make student understand the course. The faculty members of CSJM University are highly qualified.
 

Placement Rating
The placement opportunities provided by the University are average. The University conducts counseling sessions and skill development programs to enhance employability of students. Recruiters of IT, sales, and service sector come to the campus during placement drives.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel of University is decent and provide a safe & comfortable environment for the students. The rooms are in good condition, well equipped, and have high-speed internet connection. The hostel is secured. The food is average. Recreational facilities need to be improved. The hostel is a convenient and economical stay option for outstation students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure at University is excellent. There are classrooms, computer labs, a library, seminar hall, and even Wi-Fi facilities. Other facilities of the University include sports ground, auditorium, green areas, and list goes on with multiple others. Overall campus is maintained well even though there can be improvements in certain facilities.
 

Campus Rating
Life on campus of the CSJM University is fun. The University host many cultural and technical events. People from different background make up the student community they work together in a spirit of friendship and inclusivity. Campus life is good at University.

    My overall experience at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur was good. I chose this University on my parents’ and relatives’ recommendation. This University was earlier known as Kanpur University. I want to talk about my first day at the campus. So when I got admission at the University, the first 7 days were just for orientation of the students. Then, after these 7 days, regular classes are started.     If I talk about my overall experience at Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj Vishwavidyalaya or we can call CSJMU Kanpur, it was average. This university was nearest from my home & has best and highly qualified professors and huge campus and there are many opportunities for co-curricular activities.     It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch.     My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute.
