UIET KANPUR

Overall Rating
It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch. Others who want IT branch at low percentile can choose for this college.
 

Academics Rating
UIET offers B.Tech, BCA, and MCA. I'm in B.Tech and there are 3 IT branches (CSE, CSE-AI, and IT) and there are 3 core branches in this college. Admission is based upon JEE Mains Percentile and everyone who have given JEE exam is eligible. This college provide B.Tech course at an affordable fee of 1, 04,000. So, one who are not financially stable can go for UIET.
 

Faculty Rating
UIET has enough faculties for each department and they are well qualified. Most of teachers are PhD holders from IITs or NITs. Most of the teachers in UIET focus upon their notes for teaching which are easy to grab and understand. Teachers focus upon skills rather than on knowledge and constantly motivate student to participate in various events and improve skills.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is good in IT branches; highest package till last year was 16 LPA. But Placements of core branches are very poor. UIET Has a Placement cell which tries to provide good packages. Although students are doing very well in off campus placement. Placement cell’s head is trying to bring more and more companies to campus and in upcoming year placements will be improved.
 

Hostel Rating
University has 2 Boys’ Hostel and 4 girls’ Hostels. Facilities and infrastructure of Hostel are very nice. Rooms are well furnished and have sharing of two. Mess food is average. The overall fees of this year 2023 are around 70000 INR.
 

Infrastructure Rating
University infrastructure is mind blowing. There are separate buildings for each department. They are modern and fully digitalized. Campus has state of art Auditorium, Stadium, Libraries, Swimming pool, Gym, and Helipad inside it. Food court and SBI bank branch is available inside the Campus for students. Campus is lush green and very clean.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life in UIET is awesome. I made many friends who are from different parts of country and gave me knowledge about various culture of India. There are various clubs for extracurricular and skill development. Recently UIET had cultural fest called CARVAAN. University provides free guidance to campus students in various sports and specified coaches are available. UIET host ICPC coding competition of Kanpur site.

    My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute. My over-all experience in this institute is very good as it gives proper University exposure and healthy atmosphere. Anyone whose rank is above 1 lakh may go for this collage.... Read Full Review

    I am studying at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and I am perusing my B.Tech in Computer Science from this university. It’s a really wonderful college of engineering in Uttar Pradesh. It has a big campus. It has one of the biggest college stadium in Uttar Pradesh. In this college we have many type of stadiums like cricket, and volleyball and badminton.     Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the best universities in U P. It provides many courses and engineering is one of them. The university campus life and infrastructure is very good. It provides many facilities like hostel for both girls and boys, gym, swimming etc. Faculty of the university is very friendly in nature.
