My Valuable Experience at CSJMU Kanpur

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur was good. I chose this University on my parents’ and relatives’ recommendation. This University was earlier known as Kanpur University. I want to talk about my first day at the campus. So when I got admission at the University, the first 7 days were just for orientation of the students. Then, after these 7 days, regular classes are started. In the first semester, I thought that the University was overall too good.
 

Academics Rating
I had opted for the course BBA. I chose this course because after completing high school, I developed an interested in Accounts, Economics, and mainly Business Studies. The Academics here were good and prepared the students for real-life challenges.
If I can talk about fee structure, so the fee of my chosen course was Rs. 40,240/- for two semesters with all the charges included (for the students who have not opted for hostel & mess).
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at CSJMU Kanpur was very good and friendly. They tried to solve all the doubts of the students. The professors were highly qualified and have high expertise in their respective fields. Almost all the teachers had done their Ph.Ds. Their method of teaching helped us to understand all the topics very well. Moreover, the teacher-student ratio was like 2:3.
 

Placement Rating
There was a Placement Cell in our University. The placements were average and students mostly tried for off-campus placement opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel facilities were provided. The boys’ and girls’ hostels were separate. The facilities were good. Moreover, the food was too and strict Security wass provided for the safety of the students. There were many hostel rules as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus at CSJMU Kanpur is huge. There are Cafeterias, Parks, Gymnasium, Swimming Pool, Basketball Court, Badminton Court, Grounds, Sitting Areas, etc. All the facilities at the campus are too good.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life was good. If I can talk about my personal experience, I can say that there were too many ups and downs but can't forgot my campus days. There were many fests organised such as the ‘Sankarshan’ and ‘Mystica’. I also performed in many fests and made good memories at this University.

    It has been one year in this college and my overall experience is good. This college gave me environment in which I made many friends and learnt few new skills as well. I had some issues with teacher's teaching methods but overall experience is very good. I got 274 thousand ranks in JEE Mains 2022 and UIETs counselling and got CSE-AI branch.     My JEE mains ranks was low around 112 k and UIET Kanpur offered me CSE even at this rank and moreover this institute lies inside the Kanpur University that made me to choose this institute. My over-all experience in this institute is very good as it gives proper University exposure and healthy atmosphere. Anyone whose rank is above 1 lakh may go for this collage.... Read Full Review

    I am studying at Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University and I am perusing my B.Tech in Computer Science from this university. It’s a really wonderful college of engineering in Uttar Pradesh. It has a big campus. It has one of the biggest college stadium in Uttar Pradesh. In this college we have many type of stadiums like cricket, and volleyball and badminton.     Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur is one of the best universities in U P. It provides many courses and engineering is one of them. The university campus life and infrastructure is very good. It provides many facilities like hostel for both girls and boys, gym, swimming etc. Faculty of the university is very friendly in nature.
