KIIT School of Management is a deemed University that is recognized by AICTE, UGC as well as NBA-approved. This University is established in the year 1993 named the Institute of Business Administration and Training. The KIIT School of Management is a private University that provides higher education in many specializations such as finance, marketing, hr, operations as well as business analytics.

I have done my MBA program here (batch 2019-20), one of the best experiences in my career. There are a lot of opportunities while doing my MBA here. The overall environment is quite good and healthy. The eligibility is very simple. You just have to be in 60% or 1st division and pass marks in entrance exams like KIITEE, MAT, CAT OR XAT. After all those things a candidate must clear the interview round which is done by college faculty. They ask a few questions regarding your academic background, the reason behind joining this course, hobbies, etc. If a candidate wants to study MBA in Orissa then KIIT School of Management ranked top 2nd in Bhubaneswar. The experience is quite good as the campus is full of co-curricular activities and the best thing in this campus is the foreign students. There are many of my friends from Syria and other countries. I am learning and exploring many good things from them such as their culture, their experiences, hobbies, jobs. Apart from that, MBA is very necessary for each and every candidate as MBA prepares you corporate ready. At KIIT University, I have seen that even those who are doing jobs leave their job and join MBA for better and deserving positions and salary and without MBA no one will succeed in their job. Hence, in my view MBA is very important for your academics and doing MBA from KIIT School of Management is worth it.

I personally feel that the faculty are quite good in teaching and well experienced in their field of study. The faculty are doing jobs previously in MNC companies such as NOKIA, ITC Limited, HUL, etc. In my experience, marketing faculty are best in KIIT School of Management. The main interesting thing here is when you join the University a candidate is assigned under mentor and this is very helpful for each and every candidate as you can share your any doubts or if any candidate is feeling shy to ask doubt in class they can contact their mentor and the mentor is assigned a date regarding your doubt class. Mentors also do the weekly mentoring programs on weekends for any doubts or issues in college. Anything that happened with you in University must be known by the mentor. The mentor is like your backbone in the whole University. One more interesting thing is that many of the faculty are passed out from IIM, few of them are from IIT, NIT. Hence, they know the pattern and prepare the student accordingly. The faculty is very cooperative and very friendly. I feel at home in my batch. My mentor is very cool and supportive in every situation. Mentors are also invited to celebrate your birthdays, Diwali parties at their homes, etc. I really enjoy and appreciate their behavior. The faculty also conduct personal interviews and group discussion sessions at the time of my placements. Hence they can know where we lack in corporate and according to that, they prepare me in my placement time.

In my view, the training and placement cell of my college is very good in terms of placements and companies. I personally feel that if someone study in Odisha and want their dream job, then KIIT School of Management is the right choice for you as you can share your thoughts to training and placement cell such as what company do you aim for? What are the things you have to prepare for that particular company? What is the interview procedure? How many students do they want? All things you can get from KIIT sap portal which is the website link for each and every student in KIIT. I clear my interviews through this thing only. The questions asked by the interviewer for a particular company are available in the sap portal. And the written exam questions are also available in the sap portal and apart from this the training and placement are organizing a workshop during your placements. In my placement time I feel that I don't have to prepare anything, everything is made in my table. The sap portal and training placement cell of KIIT University is great. If I got a chance to rate the placement I will give 10/10. During my batch the top MNC companies visited here are Deloitte, XL Dynamics, ITC Limited, HUL, Mahindra & Mahindra, KPMG, NOVETIS, Brittania, Perfetti, etc. The average package is 4.2 lakhs received by our batch of students and the placement percentage is 90+ in our batch. The highest package in our batch is 10.2 lakhs and only 2 candidates are selected for the advisory profile.

The University has hostel facility for both boys and girls separately. There are fully AC rooms provided to the students along with common washroom in each floor. In each floor, there is CCTV camera installed to see the student behavior towards another student and hostel staff or warden. In each floor there is fire extinguisher is provided. For every student, there is a separate bed, study table, a big wardrobe, a bed sheet, blanket, pillow, bucket, and mug. Apart from this each room contain a shoe stand outside of your room. The warden is also very friendly in nature and polite. The hostel fees is increase every year. In my time the hostel fees is Rs. 60,000 per semester and fooding is Rs. 25,000 (including veg and non veg). The canteen is very hygienic, neat and clean. The food quality is great in terms of taste and quality. And if a candidate demands some food, the food menu is changed according to the feedback given by all students. Talking about the security of students the University is prepared a health card for all the students.

The University infrastructure is very big and great. The rock garden, sculptures, fountain view in night, and a football field greenery view is awesome. Apart from the studies the college is full of indoor sports to outdoor sports such as badminton court near hostel, football ground near canteen, fountain near canteen, a big library full of books with 2 floored air conditioner. There is also facility of daily newspapers of 9 brands. You can read and know about all the daily news by going though MBA degree.

The overall campus life is fabulous. The schedule is quite hectic in terms of classes but I am enjoying the schedule according to my style. The hectic schedule teaches us a lot and corporate ready. Sometimes I feel that I am in my office not in class as the environment and faculty are like this only. The campus is full of clubs such as finance club, marketing club, hr club and many more. Daily some types of activity are going on after our hectic class schedule to mind fresh of each and every one. One more interesting thing is our college fests. In my college time Arman Mallick came to sing and hang out with us. The fest is organized by KIIT University students only. The students will decide and contribute the fest fees. According to students opinion guests will be invited.
