GGDSD college is very good as compared to Chandigarh’s other private and Govt. colleges because all the processes here are done online. For example, admission, roll no., any college updates, attendance, marks, college e-mails, etc. All these online work are helpful and the IT department of GGDSD college has advanced labs with good PCs, ACs, and teachers. But washrooms of the IT department are congested. Other departments are also good that have multiple classrooms which is manageable for teachers. Canteen is average and not that much good but overall college is good. The courses, teachers, infrastructure and add-on subjects attract new students to join this institute.

My course entry requirements are 10+2 pass in any stream, but cut-off marks are required for admission in all the courses. My main motive behind joining the college was that it is near my house and I had cleared the cut-off for admission. Also, this course teaches so many skills which are helpful for placement and for future studies.

Faculties of our department are good, highly qualified and experienced. Their behavior towards students is very nice, very helpful and gentle. They are strict too but very supportive for studies. They teach us with modern and updated methods and give us homework, tests and projects for practical knowledge.

Yes, we do have placements and there are different teachers who guide the students to grab placement opportunities and fulfill the company requirements. The college sends emails to all students individually but placement percentage is very less.

Yes, hostel infrastructure and facilities are good. Mess of our college is good but boys’ hostel is a bit smaller.

Infrastructure of GGDSD college is good and each department has different buildings. It is easy to manage the crowd of students and to find classrooms but they should improve the IT departments’ washrooms. They can increase the buildings’ floors which will be more helpful and they should improve the canteen’s seating area.

Campus life in GGDSD college is the best if you are energetic and extrovert. There are many opportunities and fun activities to do here. There are many clubs to join which is also helpful in personality development. Event management of this college is good because I have attended few fests in my college and they managed it very well as compared to the crowd of other colleges. They have good team.
