GGDSD College Chandigarh Campus is Developed Over 16.5 Acres of Land

I am studying at GGDSD College Chandigarh and till now experience is very good. The College has a nice environment, and I feel comfortable being there. The campus is clean and well maintained, which makes it a good place to spend time and focus on studies. I chose this College mainly because of its reputation and location. It is very convenient and accessible. Students get opportunities to participate in various events.

I am currently pursuing a B.A (Hons.) in Psychology. I chose this because I have a genuine interest in this field, and I want to build a future in it. I also feel that this course offers good career opportunities and helps in developing practical knowledge. The eligibility criteria for this course are quite straightforward. Students must have passed the 12th class from a recognised board with the required subjects and a minimum percentage. The admission process for this College is quite simple. Students need to fill out a form online and submit their academic details. Once selected, they need to complete the document verification and fee payment to confirm their admission.

The fee structure at College is quite reasonable compared to others. For my course, the total fee is around Rs. 36,000/- per year. It may vary slightly depending on the course and semester, but overall it is very affordable. The fees include tuition fees, along with admission and registration charges.

The faculty at the GGDSD College Chandigarh is supportive and experienced. Most of the teachers teaching my course have very good academic backgrounds and strong knowledge of their subjects. Some of them have many years of teaching experience, which helps students understand topics clearly. The teaching methods are a mix of traditional and modern styles. Teachers mostly use blackboards to explain concepts very easily. In addition, sometimes they use PPTs and presentations.

The Placement Cell provides students with many career opportunities. It helps in connecting students with different companies. In addition, keeps them informed about various job openings, internships, and placement drives. The College also conducts workshops and seminars.

The hostel facilities are available for students, both boys and girls. Although, I am not personally staying in the hostel but based on what I have heard, is that hostels for both boys and girls are separate, ensuring proper safety and management.

The infrastructure of the College is quite good and well maintained. The campus area is more than 16.5 acres. In addition, have all the necessary facilities for the students, which are essential to them, like canteen, washrooms, healthcare, library, reading hall and a separate girls’ room for their proper safety. The academic blocks are properly structured with proper rooms and benches. Most classes are comfortable, and some rooms have basic AV aids like projectors.

My overall campus life has been quite good. The environment in this College is friendly, and it does not feel too stressful. I have even made some amazing friends here. There are enough activities to keep students engaged, so the overall experience is good. The College crowd is decent as you get to meet students from different states, and it is really interesting and engaging. Most students are helpful and friendly.
