IIT Madras: A hub of Innovation and Excellence

Overall Rating
IIT Madras is a renowned institution with accomplished faculty and a vibrant campus life. It’s a pinnacle of knowledge which results in academic excellence making it the number 1 NIRF ranking institute. It mainly focuses on innovation, holistic learning and societal impact which set it apart from other institutions. They organize a lot of hackathons and conferences for students to indulge in their creativity and ideas.
 

Academics Rating
I’m a part of the Data Science degree and the curriculum they designed is for us to understand and gain practical insight about the subject. I enrolled in this course with the motive of polishing my analytical skills and I can witness my goal has been accomplished. Other than that, they offer undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees which aim to foster critical thinking and skills with major focus on practical learning. Their academic curriculum is designed to provide students with the best possible learning experience and opportunities.
 

Faculty Rating
As I’ve mentioned before the institution is blessed with distinguished and experienced faculty which is the backbone of this prestigious institution. Most of the faculty members are IIT graduates and nothing can be better than this. They know the right way to impart their knowledge and share their experiences. They try to teach us with the real world examples which helps in a better understanding of the subject matter.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell which diligently works for the benefit of their students. They organize all kinds of sessions and workshops to help the students in their development. This includes career counseling, industry experts’ workshops, resume building workshops and mock interview sessions for students to get a hang of industry interviews. They collaborate with potential employers and companies ensuring a diverse range of internship and job opportunities for students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have a lot of hostels with facilities like high speed internet, laundry services and study rooms and focus on students’ welfare. The hostel environment is safe.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IIT M offers an impressive and expansive infrastructure which does includes different department buildings but also there’s a diverse range of flora and fauna. It’s the perfect blend of technology and nature. It also offers various recreational and sports facilities. They have a wide range of buildings which include places like the department buildings, hostels, grounds, swimming pool and an activity center for indoor activities.
 

Campus Rating
IITM offers an excellent blend of academic, social and cultural experiences. It also emphasizes on research and developmental learning and offer great opportunities for the young talents. At the same time for the extracurricular activities they have a wide range of clubs and societies. These clubs arrange dj nights, ethnic days, etc. Other than that, they organize technical and cultural fests like ‘Shastra’, ‘Saarang’ and ‘Paradox’ which attract people from all over the country to showcase their talents and work.

    It was 2024, when I cleared JEE Advanced with a decent rank of around 2.5k. In JOSAA Counselling, I chose this Institute. That's when I found out that I had made one of the best decisions in my life. 1 year had already passed but I still feel like a fresher enjoying the life.   • TRUTH OF IITM'S ONLINE DATA SCIENCE COURSE

    The name is enough to enroll in this course as it is of IITM. This is one of the best course in online form and if you want to do an online course after 12th or want to study from IIT then this is the course you want. The faculty of course is great. You will get IIT teacher from IIT Madras and IIT Ropar. Placement cell is also there and many of the students get Internship.     My experience at Indian Institute of Technology Madras has been very good. One of the best things I felt about IIT Madras Campus is its lush green environment. Campus provides all necessary stationary, and requirements for smooth study. I choose IIT Madras because of its academic excellence and great set of faculty.     Indian Institute of Technology, Madras has been NIRF 1 for many years. It offers variety of degree courses like B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA, Ph.D, MS, MA, HS and specialization courses. It has one of the best research facilities among all the colleges across India. It has a large campus with total area of over 600 acres and around half of it is covered with forest because of which we have very rich wildlife inside the campus itself such as monkeys, dears, endangered black bucks, fox, cats, snakes, etc. ...   • A great campus life to explore

    My overall experience until now has been really good. The campus is really good and it really big so we can enjoy most of the time on our campus itself. As I am in Chennai the weather is really hot but inside the campus, the weather is somewhat cold as there is more greenery like trees, etc. It is a 450 acres campus and around 100 acres is like a forest, so the weather is really good.
