My Experience in Sister Nivedita University

Overall Rating
I would like to initiate that this university is one of the best universities in Kolkata, providing excellent education and stunning infrastructure. The university is well equipped with modern classrooms and well stocked library, a sports field which has all types of sports for us to play in our free time. I would gratefully say that this university provides a great academic life with little pressure for us to focus on other extra activities. I chose this university because it stands out amongst the others and has great faculty.
 

Academics Rating
The academics in this university are not harsh as it gives a good balance between extracurricular activities and studies. In my department, one can grow their skills externally by not worrying about their academics. It is important to have self-growth as it helps and improve our chance of getting employed in big multinational companies. We have labs which helps us to build ourselves into the technical world therefore enhancing our employability skills
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty in my university is very good. All of them are quite knowledgeable and have expertise in what they are teaching to us. We are quite grateful to them as they help us with minor problems as well. The student to teacher relationship is quite good as they are quite frank with us. There a lot of faculty members with their own expertise so that we get a variety of knowledge
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have placement services and they are quite good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is quite equipped with classrooms, washrooms and well- stocked library. It also consists of a gymnasium for both girls and boys. We also have a ground which can be used to play different sports. We do have a basketball court as it is our main game. The university is also under construction so that we have a more space in the future.
 

Campus Rating
I have to say that the campus life is very good in our university. We have a lot of clubs for different mindset including drama, music dance and sports club under the ethnic clubs. For our department we have technical clubs to brush ourselves in terms of technical skills. We also have a photography club for those who are interested. We also have regular engagement activities in a month including minor programs.

    Overall Rating
    The campus life in Sister Nivedita University is fun. There is no ragging. The academics do not give too much pressure. Exams are very easy. Faculties are not too strict for their rules. Class notes are enough for the exam. I took admission to this university because it had good reputation and easy to get in to. The university’s fee was also good.     My University has a ragging free campus where I can easily move out freely and the teaching process is kind of good. I don't need any extra tuition outside just because I attend classes regularly. If anyone wants to study and learn something then SNU is a nice University to take admission in.... Read Full Review
