My experience at the college is great, campus is nicely managed with good infrastructure. You will enjoy 5 years of your life here and may be the best moment of your life. The placements are also very good, fests are organised at a certain period of time and everything is good in here, a perfect college for a students.

So about the course I am pursuing dual course [B.tech+M.tech] which is a 5year course. Admission in this college Depends on rank, category(caste etc. for reservation). First of all for B.Tech cutoff rank for general category students is between 1354-10094 this year. If your category is different you will get benefits of that. In B.Tech there are many courses like B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Civil Engineering etc. For the M.Tech degree you can enter by giving GATE exam. The cutoff for gate exam was 615 and 670 marks to have a good chance for securing a seat for rank 200 or lower. Gate scores for IT admission is often between 400 and 800.

Faculty in our college is great and exactly like what I expected. If you have doubts you can ask the faculty and they will teach you very good. If you have any problem academic or non-academic they will help you in that also, you can tell them about all your problems or even if there is any personal problem’s, I have seen them helping students in financial matters also. So faculty is very good in here.

Placements season here are also very good. Last year the highest and lowest package in B.Tech was 68lac per annum and 25.4lac per annum. A student should see average package but not the highest. Average package is very good here. Big giants like Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Oracle etc. participate in the placement season and offer jobs to students. For M.Tech students highest and lowest packages were 37lac per annum and 9.9lac per annum. Overall the placements are good here so you can choose this as your college.

Main thing of your 5 year life here is hostels. It depends on facilities, food and other things but the very main thing is food. The question of the students is- is the food good here or like the other hostels? So the answer is - yes the food is good here not like other hostels. One surety I can give you is you will not get bored like in other hostels in your student life. Rooms changes every year, so in the first years you have to compromise a little bit with size of your room but you will be used to it in some time (not a big issue).

IIT Indore’s campus is spread over 500 acres which is huge and Infrastructure is very good. I am seeing lots of things developing here. The classrooms are also very good and air conditioned. Main Campus building is very good and clean, you are in Indore the cleanest city of course you will find cleanliness. Proper labs for all courses with some great infrastructure. Internal Roads, swimming pool, gyms etc.

Campus life in IIT Indore is very good. You get all the facilities here from academics to sports like- cricket, football, table tennis, lawn tennis, swimming, squash, robotics, badminton, etc. Crowd here is also very good and participates in every college program. Fests are conducted at a certain time here and some big names from the Internet or Bollywood come here recently. Tech fest is organised here which is very good. Other facilities like gym and all is there and it’s all free. For coaching in Gym and Swimming you have to pay. People are also great here you will make good friends and memories here. No ragging culture is present in this college.
