This hospital is situated near to the city, so patient flow is considerably very good, as many patients are referred from McGann (Govt. Hospital); this much of patient exposure is what needed for practical knowledge and clinical skills. It’s in Shimoga, with lush green scenery to chill out with friends, this is the perfect spot to relax amidst the hectic schedule of the course. Coming to the administrative perspective, it's all good by far. Fests are the only neutral thing about this college, no celebrities come for the fest, but yeah, it's fun time when fest is happening.

If you want to enroll into this course, you have to go through NEET, eligibility will depend on the cut off each year, 400+ would be a safe score to get into this college. The course is 4 year long + 1 year of paid internship, yes you will be getting paid, but it will be just 2000 INR per month, a decent amount as compared to other colleges. You'll be learning many skills during this course to earn sufficient money. I would say Dentistry is a mix of hand work and knowledge, its Art as well as Studying. It's not a boring course; it becomes interesting with every year.

The Faculties are very well versed in their field. They are all Post Graduates from reputed colleges. Their way of teaching is variable from teacher to teacher, while some prefer practical knowledge, some prefer theoretical. They all usually prefer PowerPoint for teaching. Overall the faculties are very much friendly. They really help us out while handling a patient.

Yes, we do have a Hostel. The Boys hostel isn't that good as compared to Girls hostel, because the gender ratio is more for girls. Overall the maintenance of hostel is very well taken care of; the importance of hostel is that, it’s in campus making it convenient for the students.

The Campus is very well built and is beautiful in its own way. Many trees have been planted in campus also. The academic block is in the hospital itself. The college is a three floor building, the third floor is where all the teaching happens, and the rest two floors have the departments of hospital along with a Library. The Library is very well maintained with a lot of books. Playing ground is not that much developed, just a normal football ground is available.

Overall Campus life is chill and hectic both, hectic because of the stress of exams and syllabus, but to relief, many programs and fests happen in college. So the time passed is not noticeable here. The fest is 10 days long with every batch competing for a champion trophy. Seniors engagement is very appreciable here. They help us in every way possible. Total strength of each batch is around 80-100.
