PICT Pune: The Institute of Placements

Overall Rating
Overall, the institute is decent and the placements are its main highlights. The faculty is the best and has good knowledge of their respective subjects. Academics are best. It is best known for its placement services.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are upto date and take exam frequently in form of Mid-sem, End-sem, open book exam, and collaborative learning. Institute also conducts flip class room, which allows students to learn and gain knowledge on their own. The exams level is decent not too hard nor very easy. The syllabus is shared way before the year’s starts so students also study by their own. Institute provides questions bank and study material as well.
The yearly tuition fee is around Rs. 1,15,000 and for hostel, it is Rs. 1,25,000. The institute provides many scholarship for meritorious and EWS students. In addition, for SC/ST, the fee is 50% and for girls it is free. Over all the institute is affordable and ROI is good.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is the main thing. The entire well educated and well qualified in their respective fields. Some are from COEP and other top institutes of Maharashtra. They make sure everyone is present and is studying well in the classroom. The faculty has experience of more than 5 years, which is seen in their teaching style. All the staff is chill and understands the students very well. Every classroom has one projector for pots and better understanding.
 

Placement Rating
The placements of Pune Institute of Computer Technology are very good and have an average package of 10 LPA. Some students go off campus or go for masters if no campus placement is offered. Students become eligible for campus placements after 3rd year. Many big companies visit the campus for placements including PhonePe, Microsoft, and Adobe.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Pune Institute of Computer Technology's infrastructure is very good. Institute has one Gym, one TT court and one basketball court and one cricket net. Have labs each subject and more than one for each subject, which is good all labs are well equipped and have all necessary equipment and facilities. Washroom is very clean and is well maintained. Water cooler is present on each floor.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life can be much better. 1 good fest is organized by institute. The students here are fully focused on coding and placement, which is the reason this institute is, has 90% placement.

    I just completed my first year and the overall experience was quite good. PICT Pune completely focuses on academics and skills. Here, there are many clubs, CCA credits, etc. but extracurricular are not that much focused on. Factors that made me choose were the coding culture and placements here.     PICT is one of the top engineering institutes. I got decent marks to be able to take admission in this prestigious institute with the topmost branch (Computer Engineering). I was preparing for JEE and JEE Advanced but wasn't able to crack it.     PICT college is the one of the best technology college in Maharashtra. In my college the placement is the best part. The college provides best faculty members to educate us.     Pune Institute of Computer Technology is one of the best Institutes of the Pune. Previously, we had three courses only i.e. Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics and Tele-Communication. Last year they added two more Courses, first one is AI-DS and second one is ECE. They offer the best educational infrastructure.     So basically, I chose PICT just like others because of it being a reputed institute. And, to be very honest, the institute seems to be living up to its expectations as of now. I have been in this institute for more than a year now, and have seen 2 full blown placement seasons here. You get shocked seeing the pay packages which the visiting companies offer.
