PICT Pune Average Package is around 8 LPA to 12 LPA

Pune Institute of Computer Technology is one of the best Institutes of the Pune. Previously, we had three courses only i.e. Computer Engineering, Information Technology, and Electronics and Tele-Communication. Last year they added two more Courses, first one is AI-DS and second one is ECE. They offer the best educational infrastructure. However, if I have to review them based on their overall Institute infrastructure then they lack in some fields. For example they are very good at academics but if we talk about the campus area, which is equal to 5 acres only.

The Course chosen by me is Electronics and Tele-Communication because i was more of hardware type than software. I was more interested in core than software. That is why I chose this department. As I am a student from Jammu and Kashmir, our eligibility criteria was, we have more than 93% in 12th at that time. This criteria changes every year, so I cannot say anything about it. The admission process of this Institute is so easy. They have a separate department for admission, every people in that department helps during the admission process. They provide a very good environment for students to learn new things. Even they also prepare us for the real-life challenges like they provide separate subjects for your soft skills. Also, in this Institute there are different Clubs in which students can enroll and learn new things.

As I am a scholarship student. I do not have to give any fees to my Institute. However, I think the fee structure of our Institute is also very good.

The faculty members are academically very strong. They are genuinely interested in student's growth. They are very experienced and they know how to deal with students. They even support every student. Most of the teachers from our department have advanced qualifications like Ph.D, M.Tech, etc. They use modern technologies like PPTs, group discussions, etc. to make the class interactive. They really make real efforts to connect with each student. If someone struggles to understand the topic, professors often offers them personal guidance and they even arrange one on one session to clear the doubts of the students. Over the time, students and teachers build a good bond. Professors also provide mentorship to students.

The placement cell of PICT Pune is very experienced. This cell offers compressive guidance to students. Cell guides students from step by step from resume building to preparing for interview Top companies like Amazon, Phonepe, MasterCard, Barclays etc. Visits the Institute. The average package of this Institute is around 8 LPA to 12 LPA, but lucky ones ven get more than 40 LPA. Placement cell's teachers are even approachable, if we get stuck somewhere they helps and mentoring them.

Yes, Our Institute offers residential facilities, the rooms of hostels are very good, I exactly do not know the numbers of rooms, but they have more than 200 rooms for boy’s hostel. They provide Wi-Fi, games etc for the hostellers. Yes. The girls and boys hostels are separate. If we talk about the mess and food, the food quality is good but not so good. Hygiene quality is good, they provide unlimited food. Hostel fee is Rs. 1,40,000/- annually. After 10 PM, they do not allow students to go outside the hostel. I do not have any personal experience as I have never stayed at hostel.

The Institute infrastructure is good with neat and well-designed academic blocks. The campus is located at a peaceful area making it easy to focus on your studies. The classroom is comfortable with enough seats for all students and has projectors for better learning. There are many useful facilities like library with lots of books, seminar hall for each department. They also have an auditorium and conference room. The campus also has a gym where students can do workout and keep themselves healthy. The campus also has a separate canteen that serves decent food. There is also a basketball court where interested students can play basketball and our campus also has a volleyball court. Overall, the campus infrastructure supports learning and makes the academic experience better for everyone.

Campus life genuinely fun. The Institute community is welcoming and students come from different backgrounds which makes the Institute life interesting. There are so many Clubs like Robotics etc. In 2026, Our Institute got the first prize in Robotics. Extracurricular activities and festivals are a huge part of life here. Pulzion is one technical Club. It is packed with competitions, workshops, and showcases that bring together talent from across the country. The cultural fest ‘Addiction’ is exciting, filled with music, dance, and performances that unite the entire campus. Whether you are a part of performances or not. It is very fun to be there.
