The college and hostel buildings are in front of each other. I previously had stayed in a hostel and hence it was nothing new for me but some of my friends were staying in a hostel for the first time. College life experience always feels incomplete if you haven't stayed in a hostel. Independence really teaches you a lot of life lessons. Hostel food was good but sometimes it would taste average. Hostel has one entertainment room where students can watch TV, or play indoor games like carom, table tennis. Hostel is quite posh and well maintained. The rules were not so strict at the hostel, like any students can visit the hostel without permission.Read Full Review

Hostel were quite close to the campus in fact right next to the college gate. So, walking through was never the longest walk only when I walked in for the last time around because the hostel life of PICT was amazing. Most students with whom I stayed at the hostels had the experience of staying at the hostels, while it was my first-hand experience. All I can say, student life is incomplete unless and until you spend some part of your college life at the hostels. Once you have had hostel food means you can learn compromising because on some days the food was exceptional while on most days, Khau Gali close to the college bailed us out. For, M. Tech students the in-time to the hostel was as high as 10 pm and so going on a city tour while staying at the hostel never been an issue.Read Full Review
