My Learning Experience at GCE Ratnagiri

Overall Rating
This College is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU) Lonere. My overall experience at GCE Ratnagiri is good. It provides good and peaceful learning environment. Here, students can also participate in extracurricular activities like sports and Hackathon that will help them improve their sports, technical, and other skills. Faculty is also helpful as they explain everything to the students.
 

Academics Rating
The academic experience at this College is good. The course I have taken i.e. AI-DS provides both theoretical and practical knowledge through lab sessions, assignments, and projects. College also conducts exams and test regularly which helps student for the College exams and it also conducts different kind of program through which student gets the extra knowledge about their course and about other courses, overall students get prepared for their career and real-life challenges.
As it is Government College, academic & other fee is manageable. The scholarship is provided as per category or to the students who are eligible for the scholarship schemes.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are well educated and teach really well. They use both blackboards and PPTs for conducting lectures. They clear the doubts of the students who are having any difficulty. Each and every faculty has good communication skills. Personally, I do have good bond with the entire faculty.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Overall campus of the Government College of Engineering Ratnagiri is good. There are 200+ classrooms. We do have 2 buildings i.e., old building and new building. All the classes of AI-DS stream are held in the old building. We do have workshop with all kind of machines. In addition, College provides library with all kind of books. There is also a seminar hall. I like personally the library area of the College, as it is very silent and peaceful.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is too good as I enjoy different programs and I participate in extracurricular activities. We do have many functions like Garba Celebration, Ganesh Pooja, and many more within the premises of Government College of Engineering Ratnagiri.

    The location of the College is quite good as it is situated in Ratnagiri. There are fewer distractions for studies and faculty is quite friendly. College’ campus facilities such as library, classes, and more are excellent. However, I can say there will be a lot of improvement in future because it was established in 2021.     I got admission in this College through MHT CET examination in the year 2022. Loknete Shamrao Peje Government College of Engineering Ratnagiri or Government College of Engineering Ratnagiri was established in the year 2021. This College grants the Bachelor's degree in Technology (B.Tech) to the students. I chose to be in this College, as it was a Government-Aid College, I gave this College the first preferences among the Government Colleges and due to its low cutoff, and I got the seat in here. ...
