IISER Bhopal: Roller Coaster Ride

Overall Rating
In IISER Bhopal, my experience is truly amazing. The infrastructure, campus life and academics everything is awesome. I chose IISER Bhopal because institute had a rich background in research.
 

Academics Rating
For entry, a national level exam called IIT-JAM (for M.Sc and integrated PhD) needs to be given and for bachelors, you can give another exam called Indian Aptitude Test (IAT). The eligibility is minimum 6.5 CGPA in graduation (for M.Sc and integrated PhD), as research motive to enrolling this program because IISER Bhopal is pure research based institute.
 

Faculty Rating
Every professors had a different course structure not just because they are highly qualified but because of the experience. Every professor had a different and interesting style and different methods of teaching. They all are very supportive, helpful, and highly qualified.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, IISER Bhopal has a placement cell. In our institute named as Center FOR Career Development (CCD).
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, hostels are very good and every facility is available like security, cleaners, etc. The infrastructure is amazing. There are total 8 hostels and 6 mess areas for the students of another state or country.
 

Infrastructure Rating
IISER Bhopal has four academics blocks, big lecture hall complex , sports area for outdoor sports, central library, computer centre for student, community centre for festival celebration, Ideation hut, Indian coffee house, and Cafe coffee day in the campus for its students.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, IISER Bhopal campus is very beautiful and very big. We enjoyed many type of fest like 'Enthuzia', cultural fest and celebrating festivals like 'Onam', 'Ganesh chaturthi', 'Janmashtmi' and sports events named as 'Sangharsh'. There are many clubs in the institute like movie club, book club, etc.
