A genuine review on Andhra University, Visakhapatnam

Overall Rating
Andhra University College of Engineering is very large in area and is located at the centre of the city. It is one of the best colleges to opt for pursuing higher education. University is equipped with many amenities like computer labs, library, basketball court, gym, cricket ground, etc. The university organises sports events and many other Government initiated programs. University has world class laboratories and the best teaching staff.
 

Academics Rating
Admission in Andhra University College of Engineering in the B.Tech course is through AP EAPCET and for Diploma students it is through AP ECET. Eligibility for entry into Engineering is Intermediate or Diploma. Students who have pursued Diploma can take admission in the second year of B.Tech. Students are majorly motivated to join this university due to its infrastructure.
 

Faculty Rating
The University has the best teaching faculty. Teachers explain the subject theory through PPT and PDFs on the digital screen. Video lectures are provided for better understanding of the subject in deep. In the laboratory session, students perform various experiments for practical work in industrial sectors under the guidance of the teachers.
 

Placement Rating
Andhra University College of Engineering is NAAC A+ accredited. Placements are good and vary according to the branches.
 

Hostel Rating
Andhra University College of Engineering has many hostels. Boys’ hostels are very good, provided with neat and clean washrooms and better food facility. Life in boys’ hostel is very comfortable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Andhra University has one of the best libraries which help the students to learn the subject efficiently. Departments are equipped with many amenities like seminar halls, computer lab, and classrooms with digital screen. There are many books written by the professors which are available in the college library.
 

Campus Rating
University provides many facilities like student clubs, quiz competitions, essay writing, yoga day, NCC and NSS. Every year, college celebrates its Foundation Day by conducting competitions. Every year, each department conducts its Department Day by conducting sports activities. Students also form clubs to improve their communication skills.

    It is one of the prestigious universities in Andhra Pradesh. It was a roller-coaster journey being in this university.     I firstly prefer this university for its good standards government University in the state. The university is built in the middle of the city of destiny Vizag. This university has very good connectivity to the city through transportation like bus and train. I am studying at Andhra University’s Engineering college. It consists of 6 different colleges.     Andhra University is one of the best colleges in the country and it the well recognized institution. Andhra University is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the year 1926. It has received a score of 3.74 out of 4 and graded with A++ by NAAC. My choice of choosing Andhra University is that, it is one of the oldest and best public institutions.
