Andhra University is one of the best colleges in the country and it the well recognized institution. Andhra University is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in the year 1926. It has received a score of 3.74 out of 4 and graded with A++ by NAAC. My choice of choosing Andhra University is that, it is one of the oldest and best public institutions. Andhra University has its old building built with stones and British architecture which is the unique part of the university.

To get admission into specific course in Andhra University students are required to attempt respective exams and get a good score in the exam. If you are a student want to get admission in engineering stream then you need to write AP EAMCET or AUCET exams and need to get a good score in order to get top branches. You are eligible to attempt these exams in your second year of intermediate or 12th class or after completion of 12th. Andhra University has a separate campus for Engineering.

Andhra University is well known to have one of the best faculties. The professors of Andhra University have more than 15 years of experience in teaching. Some of the professors are IIT graduates and most of them have completed their graduation and Ph.D in good and reputed colleges. Their teaching style is unique and each teacher provides detailed information about the subject and also explains their practical uses. The labs as well are equipped and are used to perform various experiments and can be used by students to perform any new projects.

The engineering college of Andhra University had its own placement office located in the university. Andhra University's Placement office is dedicated to empowering our students with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities to excel in their chosen careers. Many companies from all over India come to the campus for recruitment of students.

The Andhra University hostels are old because the university was built 90 years ago but recently they have been renovated and they are in good condition now. Mostly they haven't been facing any problems and it is comfortable as the hostels are very close to the university at walkable distance from the college and the food provided is of a very good taste and quality but it will remain the same for the 4 years you stay in the college if it is up to my knowledge there are no sanitary problems and no water deficit in the hostel and the hostel are surrounded by many trees and others plants which give fresh air. As the college is very near to beach it is very breezy and as time goes you will enjoy your hostel life with good friends.

The infrastructure of the college is very good looking and all the buildings in the campus are very old and built with British architecture. Many facilities like the library, computer lab, laboratories, auditorium, dispensary, and more are present in the university and all kinds of essential buildings are maintained with good care. For medical needs there are two residential health centers and a dispensary for students on the campus of Andhra University. In addition to this, the university also has many canteens, a press & publication division, women's waiting halls, and many other facilities for the students.

The study schedule is quite flexible. It's not a hectic schedule. Classes might not take place often. You don't need to go to college daily as the classes are not conducted daily. So you need to depend on self-study. The faculties provide good notes other than that the subject related books can be taken from the library. Other than studies, you will have a lot of free time daily and vacations. It depends on you whether you put that additional time to good use for better outputs in the future. There's a great library and resource center where you get books for your study purposes. You will always have the reputation of the largest and oldest University of India on your certificate as added advantages. Fests are conducted by the AU united clubs and Edumoon clubs which are formed by the students of Andhra University. As it is a public based university many events are held in the university and a large number of students from the university and even student from other universities also take a part in the events.
