Although, having an engineering background had not helped me much, I would like to thank you for the management team of AGBS who reserved extra classes for engineering background students.

The academic structure of AGBS was something that gave me the first exposure to current business strategies and market policies. We always had been given projects and case studies to analyze the latest strategies of marketplaces so that we can deal with the tactics of bringing competitive advantages. The whole process was tough enough as the professors gave weekly assignments and missing a class was not a solution. AGBS had prepared me for a path where I learned the key concepts of right communication through opening up to challenges and toughness.

There is nothing to complain about of the faculties. Every Professor was Ph.D. holder. It is not only about their degree but the faculty always arranged workshops to prepare students for the practical scenarios; rather they provided us everything that was needed to grow. Apart from this, the professors were never biased against any students and gave proper assistance to all.

Now coming to the placement, at AGBS, you do not need to worry about this. Even in my third semester, they arranged a placement cell, and more than 70% of students got placed in international companies like Deloitte and Amazon. If you want to work in the banking sector, the management team will provide you offer from HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and so on with a CTC of 7-12 lakh per annum. Since, there were two sessions of placements, one doesn’t have to worry a bit as those who couldn’t in first attempt, still are left with an attempt. The placement cell prepares them for interviews even better so that during the second attempt, they just kill it. I did it and many of my friends too, so yes, one doesn’t have to worry about placements at all. Placement at AGBS was something that filled up our expectations and desires in the fullest manner.

AGBS has hygienic, comfortable, and luxurious hostels for boys and girls within the campus. The rooms are clean and big enough to make you feel homely. In the hostel, we had a common room and a kitchen where students were allowed to make foods of their choice. Moreover, rooms were enough spacious and had the necessary arrangements to keep important things. I never had any complaint about the food as it always tasted like home, and every hostel used to have their secretary and food manager to keep things in a well-maintained way.

Amity will never disappoint you with its infrastructure. There are some 10-12 buildings along with modern classrooms, two auditoriums, elevators, and two libraries (one central library). Even on the campus, we had eco-friendly vehicles, stationery, bank, sports grounds, and canteens. At Amity, I never felt alone as it always gave the best experience in terms of safety and emergency. In case of medical emergency or injury there was a clinic at the campus and a proper treatment was possible at the campus. For those severely injured the university has tie-up with many reputed colleges of the city and Amity students were admitted there on priority.

Amity is not only about studying and getting a placement, but it also gives you the freedom to explore your skills and talent. The student council always arranges sports fest, annual fest, and other cultural programs to bring joy. There was no ragging or harassment against any students, but I always witnessed unity.
