KDK Nagpur is famous among students who want to do BE in mechanical or civil engineering. I decided to take KDK Nagpur because I did not score that well to get into a government-funded institute like NITs or even IITs, but I was adamant about engineering. You can quickly get admission here with +50% marks in HSC (lower than the standard 75%) and an average score in JEE mains. Covid hit everyone very hard, and my family was scared to send me to other cities for a while. I thought of getting into GH Raisoni College of Engineering as well, but they specialize in CS and Electrical than Mechanical or Civil Engineering, in which I was interested. I went for taking Mechanical Engineering because I was always interested in Automobile Industry, and the future, I want extraordinary skills to deal with them. Designing is a part, of course, and that is why I loved it more. You can directly go to college and ask them for a form, or you can also see KDK college's website and download all the information from there. The college management is pretty good, and most of the time, they will help you out.

I joined BE in Mechanical Engineering because I was very interested in Automobiles and machinery. The course does juristic to the purpose, and you will not feel that something is way out of your league. You will get to know about it from good staff members. The class size is approximately 60 students, and there are two sections for both, including BE in Mechanical Engineering. Course Subject is, as per my view is perfect, it is just like any other BE course. Usually, if you go out with a degree of BE in Mechanical Engineering, you will get to have many jobs aligned for you, from basic pay to high-paying jobs according to your expertise. Campus selection happens in KDK, and students make sure to ace it because that is how we have a career in our hands before leaving the college.

Faculty members are well qualified, and they make sure that they are well versed with the syllabus. The classroom atmosphere is very light, and you will grasp everything they teach if you attend class regularly. They are helping teachers, and they will guide you through all the difficulties. The central part of college life is that we have to learn everything on our own most of the time, so when I feel bored in class, I make sure to read what is taught at least. Having backs in BE is very common, but there is no need to worry about following what professors are teaching. I will say that the quality of teaching is 4/5, and you can go to KDK College of Engineering Nagpur.

Yes, every department has a training and placement cell in our college. Apart from that, many internship opportunities pass by throughout the course. Byjus is one of the companies interested in students from KDK, and they also offer a general stipend of INR 14K for internships. The thing about this is that this is not temporary. If you keep up with your task, they will hire you as a full-timer with an increased salary. KDK also welcomes several companies like HCL, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Hyundai, and many more for campus placement. There is nothing like a 100% placement guarantee because it depends on students. I will say that at least 80 to 85% of students get through the placements. The highest placement till now is of INR 14 Lakhs

KDK College of Engineering provided an in-campus hostel for both girls and boys. The fee is approximately INR 20,000, excluding hostel mess because some people prefer Tiffin services instead of hostel mess. The food is quite acceptable, just like any hostel, which is the primary reason why people go for Tiffin services. Tight security is given to students, and you have to be inside the hostel before a particular hour, and you can only stay out of the hostel for a day or two if you have permission. As far as I have noticed, extra care is given for girls' hostel.

KDK College of Engineering is a very posh institute. The building gives the vibes of a good hotel, but of course, it is not. There are positive vibes around and inside the campus. Students are very friendly, and many events happen in college. The play area is quite significant, as expected by any engineering college. Many fests happen, including cultural gatherings, management festivals, tech festivals, etc. I enjoy the years thoroughly. You can take a short walk here and there when you are free.

Campus life will be the best because the college includes all students' basic needs, from a canteen serving delicious food to an extensive library with all kinds of books. Wi-Fi is also provided on the campus, and the best thing is that the labs in college are breathtaking. As a mechanical engineering student, I love them. Participating in every event is fun and there are many cells you can be in.
