KDK College of Engineering Nagpur: Admission, Fees, and Placements

Overall Rating
My overall experience at KDK College of Engineering Nagpur was good. I got good campus life, sports and events were the things enjoy a lot. Now the College gets Autonomous status. Overall, infrastructure and classroom is good. I chose this College because it is located near to my home.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science and Engineering cause because it is help to improve my problem solving abilities and makes a good carrier opportunity. Not a much requirement for entry in this College firstly you pass in 12th standard and got good numbers in entrance exam around 75 percentile you get the admission. If you got addmission through management quota, you have met the respective officials.
My fee is Rs. 1,20,000/- per year including tuition fees and development fee. College charges Rs. 10,000/- caution money in first year then money return after the completion of course. For the OBC, SC and ST students, Government provide Scholarship, OBC students paid half of the College fees, i.e., Rs. 60,000/-.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of KDK College of Engineering Nagpur is good, well qualified, and hold degree on their respective streams. Some teachers teaching quality is good easily explain everything in simple and understandable way, College provide digital boards in every class in College to improve teaching quality. Some teachers are very helpful suggest right path for future. The teacher and student ratio in my College is 1:100. In my experience bonding with some teacher and my is good, it act as friends.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, Placement Cell is present in a College, but due to recession and lack of affect of placement cell, only five companies arrived in College campus. About 10% of students placed in companies. The highest package giving by company is 4 LPA, and lowest package is 2. 5 LPA, and overall average package is 3 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College is in center of city. KDK College of Engineering Nagpur campus spread across 6 acres, College separate into 2 block, A block, and B block. In A block, all core branches available and in B block, classes for rest of the remaining branches such as CS, IT, AIDS, MCA, BCA, etc. are held. College provide a facilities like canteen liberty, auditorium, labs, sports ground, transport for students, etc. I like about my College is greenery in a campus area different types of trees, plants are Available.
 

Campus Rating
I have pass out recently my College campus life is Great, this 4 years is special part of my life. In College we meet persons become a very good friend. In College, every branch has its own clubs. Yes, I am a part of the club activities. College organises various types of events, sports events, and different types of activities. It helps students to reduce academics burden and enjoy their College life. All the clubs have their own events and College also celebrates different festivals.

    I took admission in 2022 by appearing in Maharashtra CET exam & my score was 73 percentile. The first round cutoff for CSE branch in this campus is 74. In second round of counselling I got this branch. This campus is very old some branch like AIDS, IT added later. Now the College gets autonomous status. Overall, infrastructure of classroom is good.     My overall experience at KDK college was good but not actually as I expected. I got a good campus life, sports and fests were the things that I enjoyed a lot. But talking about the academic and placements, they disappointed me a lot. The lectures were undisciplined and inconsistent most of the time.   • KDK is best for Mechanical Engineering
     

    Overall Rating
    KDK Nagpur is famous among students who want to do BE in mechanical or civil engineering. I decided to take KDK Nagpur because I did not score that well to get into a government-funded institute like NITs or even IITs, but I was adamant about engineering. You can quickly get admission here with +50% marks in HSC (lower than the standard 75%) and an average score in JEE mains.
