KDKCOE Nagpur has Good Infrastructure

Overall Rating
I took admission in 2022 by appearing in Maharashtra CET exam & my score was 73 percentile. The first round cutoff for CSE branch in this campus is 74. In second round of counselling I got this branch. This campus is very old some branch like AIDS, IT added later. Now the College gets autonomous status. Overall, infrastructure of classroom is good. I am choosing this College because it is located near house also low fees and 50 percent scholarship.
 

Academics Rating
Curriculum of each semester is very lengthy. Though the curriculum of autonomous batch is updated. Eligibility for getting admission in this College to have at least 45% marks in 12th standard. In addition, a valid CET or JEE Main scores to get admission. In addition, you can get admission through Management quota. Also passing semester exams is not difficult you just have to study from lecture notes.
Fee is generally different for categories reservation. I am get admission through Open category and I pay Rs. 74,000/- in first year and rest of the 3 year I paid Rs. 59,656/-. After receiving 50 percent students scholarship. Scholarship only those students get who belongs to Maharashtra and get admission through entrance exam.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties of the KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur are well qualified. Faculties are good at teaching while few are not know the deep understanding of subjects. Apart from teaching, teachers are supportive and helpful. Faculties use blackboard, desktop, and digital projectors for teaching.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are not up to the mark. Only few students get placement in CSE branch. As I know, the highest package offered was 4.5 LPA and the average package offered is 2.4 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are separate for boys and girls. Hostels fee is not high, as you have to pay Rs. 30,000/- for whole year in which food's and necessary living expenses are covered. Hotel gates are closed after 7.30 PM. Food quality is acceptable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Classrooms of the KDK College of Engineering, Nagpur are quite spacious. However, our branch has more students capacity so it is divided in section and other branch students fits in single classroom. Each classroom have a capacity of 100 students, library area is also big. Facilities like Wifi these are limited. Labs are present. There are two canteens in our campus. Sports ground is not so big. There is conference hall in our campus.
 

Campus Rating
I am really the campus life, students are supportive, and surrounding environment is good. Event and fest not organised frequently but yeah when it has happens we celebrate with full energy. There many clubs is in our campus such, coding club, robotics club, electro club, etc. Extracurricular activities are provided such as yoga, communication training, and debate between students and faculties to become ready for placements.

    My overall experience at KDK college was good but not actually as I expected. I got a good campus life, sports and fests were the things that I enjoyed a lot. But talking about the academic and placements, they disappointed me a lot. The lectures were undisciplined and inconsistent most of the time.   • KDK is best for Mechanical Engineering

    KDK Nagpur is famous among students who want to do BE in mechanical or civil engineering. I decided to take KDK Nagpur because I did not score that well to get into a government-funded institute like NITs or even IITs, but I was adamant about engineering. You can quickly get admission here with +50% marks in HSC (lower than the standard 75%) and an average score in JEE mains.
