My Journey in DIET

Overall Rating
Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in 2009 and provides a range of Engineering programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. At the time of my course, it was affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. In the present time, it became an Autonomous Institute. The institute features well furnished library, classrooms, and laboratories that are well equipped. It also offers amenities including canteens, sports fields, and hostels.
 

Academics Rating
The institute is offering variety of Undergraduate streams in B.Tech like CSE, AIML, AIDS, CSML, ECE, IT, CE, ME. I have enrolled in the Bachelor of Technology and the stream is Electronics and Communication Engineering. The eligibility criteria is to have a good percentage in SSC and 12th and having a good rank in EAMCET or JEE. Student should possess clarity in which stream they want to join based on their interests and skills.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty at DIET have sufficient training and experience. And their training methods mostly based on student centric approaches. Faculty member's availability to answer questions from students and provide assistance is unremarkable. I observed a lot of faculty from our college not only having their concentration solely on lectures they have strong research interests and produce publications.
 

Placement Rating
We do have Training and Placement cell. Our Placement coordinator is MR. Sri Harsha. He's very decisive and quickly responds to our doubts. He always makes sure that we receive the 1st quality training from the best trainers. With organizations such as Wipro, TCS and Infosys recruiting students, DIET has a mediocre placement record. The biggest package available is approximately 10LPA, while the lowest might be around 1.5 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college provides residential facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute has a decent infrastructure, features a library, classrooms, and laboratories that are all well-equipped. It also offers amenities including canteens, sports fields and hostels. Our institute always has been a part of sports in district and national level. We have NCC camps too.
 

Campus Rating
Students are required to abide by the rules and regulations. Those strict disciplines teach us the morals and values of life. There are organizations and extracurricular activities available. In general, Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is a respectable choice for education. It might be appropriate option if you prepare to put in the work and are looking for a high quality education.

    Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is located at Ganguru, near Kankipadu. Firstly, the Institute’s infrastructure is quite good and there is a lot of greenery around. It is an Autonomous Institute, situated near my home and that was the reason which made me join this Institute.     When I first entered the arena, I was impressed with DIET Vijayawada’s infrastructure and disciplinary rules. These were most probably the factors, which made me choose this institute. Another plus point is that the campus has nature (positive) vibes. To summarize my overall experience at the institute, it has been a roller-costar ride.
