My Memorable Journey at DIET Vijayawada: Campus Life & More

Overall Rating
When I first entered the arena, I was impressed with DIET Vijayawada’s infrastructure and disciplinary rules. These were most probably the factors, which made me choose this institute. Another plus point is that the campus has nature (positive) vibes. To summarize my overall experience at the institute, it has been a roller-costar ride. There is no discrimination, as it will treat all the students equally and there is no ragging as well. The faculty will motivate and help you in your academics, they will also prepare us to face the real-life challenges.
 

Academics Rating
I particularly chose Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) course because of its innovative knowledge in the software development. In this course, there are so many computer languages to learn. Appearing in EAPCET is required to be eligible for entry at my institute. We must get at least 55 marks in this exam to get seat my institute in CSE. After getting qualified, we should submit the rank card and all 10th & 12th original certificates or Xerox copies to the students. The course duration is 4 years and in each one year, there will be two semesters.
Whenever I joined DIET Vijayawada, the fee structure my course was around Rs. 60,800 per annum. We can pay it semester wise also. There is no additional registration fee or additional charges. As far as I know, there is no discount in fee for specific categories. Yes, it will provide scholarships for students with the help of government.
 

Faculty Rating
In my course, faculty members have very good standards. They will also take doubt session after completing the class in an understandable way. The study background of faculties include completion of PG. In case of process of their teaching, they will utilize the blackboard most of the time. In some cases, they will also refer PPTs for effective understanding of the subject. The faculty had minimal abilities to solve real time problems. The ratio of teacher to student was 1:10. I had good friendly bonding between me and my faculty, which helps to our academics.
 

Placement Rating
In our institute, there is a placement cell, which provides training and placements in our campus. It will provide the specially trained faculty for conducting the training sessions for specialized course, which is highly required for the upcoming companies in my institute. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra visit the institute for recruitment. Packages offered by these companies are on average of 4 LPA and the highest package was 12 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, my institute provides residential facilities. There were around 40 rooms in boys’ hostel and same for the girls’ one. Yes, girls’ and boys’ hostel are separate. The hostel maintains good quality and hygienic of food. It will provide sufficient food to the students. Fee for hostel for annually is Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 50,000.
 

Infrastructure Rating
In our institute, all the academic blocks are in the large area of building. It is built in 18 acres of land and located nearer to Penamuluru, Vijayawada. In one class, there will be space for 80 students with smart projectors. The academic facilities in this institute include having central library, AC Labs, AC Seminar Halls, and Big AC Auditorium. It also provides medical support and canteen with hygienic food. There are facilities for many sports like cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, etc.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life has been excellent. DIET Vijayawada was very crowded but the institute’s management will manage that crowd in a disciplinary manner. As per my knowledge, there are no clubs in this institute. Extracurricular activities like planting trees, public awareness programs, and many others were organized by our institute. Additionally, it conducts fests every year and function during regional festivals. I have created many memories here, which are best in my campus life. I have also learnt from my mistakes.

    Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is located at Ganguru, near Kankipadu. Firstly, the Institute’s infrastructure is quite good and there is a lot of greenery around. It is an Autonomous Institute, situated near my home and that was the reason which made me join this Institute. If anyone is looking for a decent college to join then I would definitely suggest taking admission here without any second thought.... Read Full Review

    Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in 2009 and provides a range of Engineering programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. At the time of my course, it was affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. In the present time, it became an Autonomous Institute. The institute features well furnished library, classrooms, and laboratories that are well equipped.
