Overall Rating
Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is located at Ganguru, near Kankipadu. Firstly, the Institute’s infrastructure is quite good and there is a lot of greenery around. It is an Autonomous Institute, situated near my home and that was the reason which made me join this Institute. If anyone is looking for a decent college to join then I would definitely suggest taking admission here without any second thought.
 

Academics Rating
I'm pursuing B.Tech in Civil Engineering. The course structure is good and you will be provided with a semester’s programme schedule that will be followed throughout. For admission, the students need to pass intermediate and qualify EAPCET. For Diploma students, they need to qualify ECET. Other than that, they will offer management quota seats and students under the same quota will easily get seats through CETs, even if the score is little less.
 

Faculty Rating
The Faculties of Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology are fine. The faculties who teach us are M.Tech graduates but their teaching skills are quite good, and the academic schedule is followed thoroughly.
 

Placement Rating
Placements and Placement Cells are available for ECE, IT, CSE and related branches. But there are no placements available for EEE, Mechanical and Civil students. There are some improvements that can be done regarding placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are not up to the mark and the fee is at the higher end. There are several rules in the Institute which might be bothersome. They won't let you out of the campus easily and collect fines for late coming. The warden of the hostel is strict and the food at the mess is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As I already mentioned before, the Institute infrastructure is amazing. It is maintained well with greenery and a fresh atmosphere but the major problem is that the day scholars have to walk 1.5 KM from VIJ - Machilipatnam highway to come to the campus. There is a canteen facility with reasonable food prices. The campus is constructed in a D shape and the class rooms are also well maintained. The Labs provided by the institute are good for CSE, IT, ECE departments but average for Mechanical and Civil departments.
 

Campus Rating
There is no ragging in the Institute, and they take strict actions against it. There are no clubs, but several fests are organised and they are amazing. Students enjoy a lot during fest preparations and some departments organises fests every 3-4 months. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-circular activities and management surely supports them. Finally, if you want to pursue B.Tech then you can join this Institute.

    When I first entered the arena, I was impressed with DIET Vijayawada’s infrastructure and disciplinary rules. These were most probably the factors, which made me choose this institute. Another plus point is that the campus has nature (positive) vibes. To summarize my overall experience at the institute, it has been a roller-costar ride.     Dhanekula Institute of Engineering and Technology is located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. It was founded in 2009 and provides a range of Engineering programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels. At the time of my course, it was affiliated to JNTU Kakinada. In the present time, it became an Autonomous Institute. The institute features well furnished library, classrooms, and laboratories that are well equipped.
