First year experience at Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun

Overall Rating
This university is one of the best in my state; it provides the best of the education and technology of the current time to the students. The professors at the university are highly experienced and qualified. Sports facilities and facilities for bus with full security and care are provided to the students. The university gives us different opportunities to take part in different curricular activities.
 

Academics Rating
The course B.Tech (Hons.) is all about Technology related things. It gives you a vast knowledge of Technology and Information. The main motive to opt this course was my interest in Technology and Coding, and also the packages we get by studying this course. The eligibility criterion is that you should have more than 75% marks in each subject of 12th in PCM.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is cooperative and understanding. They are highly experienced in their field of teaching having a vast knowledge about the course. They teach us how to build our personality for the upcoming interview and boost our self-confidence, so this helps us during the placements’ interview. The faculties are very helpful and motivating for providing better future to the students.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell at our university which is full of experienced HR members from various big companies who are working there as our guide or you can say Guru, who make ensure that we get the best placements. It has helped many students for their placements.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we do have residential facilities in our university. It has a sports ground and the best rooms with good quality of mattress and bed with full connectivity of Wi-Fi. The best thing is the warden who is very cooperative and understanding. The mess food services are really good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus’ Academic Block is near the entrance; the structure of the university is somewhat like a palace. The whole university is present in a single infrastructure. There are no separate buildings for the students of different courses. The university has a big playground that is maintained properly, and other sports facilities are also present.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life has been moderate. We sometimes face timing issue as we are in the late shift. The crowd management is very good; there are different clubs and one of the best fests Grafest is also organised here.

    My experience in GEHU Dehradun is excellent till now. The faculties and facilities in this University are great. It has good record in providing technical placements to the students which attracts the students most. You can explore various things in the campus. The University operates in 2 swifts on is morning shift which is from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM and evening shift which is from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Overall, it is a great University according to me....     I chose Graphic Era Hill University because it was a renowned organization and not too far from my place. The infrastructure and faculty are excellent and even the placements are most important reasons I preferred GEHU over other colleges.
