My honest experience at AISSMS COE

Overall Rating
I got admission into this college through my JEE Mains score. I wanted to pursue Chemical Engineering and since this college is one of the oldest and good colleges that is available for this branch. The faculty is good and supporting. The campus is small but beautiful. It has a real airplane gifted by the air force.
 

Academics Rating
Our college comes under Savitribai Phule University my admission year was 2019. Based on the pattern, our exams were divided into two parts; one is in semester which is of 30 marks and the other is of 70 marks which is end semester. Excluding this other 25 marks are allotted to external viva practical exams. An aggregate is taken to calculate SGPA.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are Ph.D qualified here. They are highly educated. Some of the teachers have done Masters from recognised colleges. Our HOD is very humble and friendly. He encourages us to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, SAT, etc.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, placement assistance is given to us. The placements are pretty average here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is spread within an area of less than 2 acres. There is a real plane gifted by Indian air force as a symbol of exllence which is a proud moment for us. AISSMS is divided into many sectors like Pharmacy, College of Engineering, an Autonomous College, MBA College, and a School.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is small but it has many trees which have pretty pink flowers. Our canteen is always crowded. College has many clubs including Cultural, Sports, Media, and others.

    I'm currently studying in second year. Our college's teaching faculty is particularly good. I've heard from my cousin that in college you don't really understand anything that they teach, but in my perspective all of our teachers are good except 1 or 2 exceptions.     After completing the Diploma in Computer Engineering I was concerned about which college I will attend for my undergraduate degree. This is because the choice of institution has a huge impact on academic and extracurricular development. In the first round of admission, the IT department was allotted but my preference was in the main field of Computer Engineering and during the second round I got it at AISSMS, COE.     Overall Rating
    The AISSMS College of Engineering is a pretty decent college in my personal opinion. It is situated right at the heart of Pune city. With a metro station present right beside, it's very convenient for the students living at distance as well.
