Quality teaching in Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra

Overall Rating
Faculty members are very kind and helpful. The exams are conducted on regular basis. It is ranked 700-751 in the Asian University (Rankings 2023) and ranks 41 in the State University category. A very beautiful campus with approximately 450 acres lashed in greenery. There is a central library and also every department has their own library and students can issue books easily.
 

Academics Rating
Kurukshetra University provides 4-5 year B.Tech courses in different streams. Admission is based on your rankings on JEE Mains exams. Total fee is also not much approximately 4-5 lakh for the total course. The course curriculum is relevant and exams are conducted on regular basis. Classroom is very neat and clean.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are very kind and helpful. Every one of them is a doctorate in their respective subjects. The teaching quality is excellent with practical insights which help us in understanding the concepts better. Exams are a bit difficult but we have to work hard to pass and the teachers are also very helpful.
 

Placement Rating
The university placements are good. It has tie-ups with good companies. Many companies like Maruti, Wipro, etc. visit the campus. Recently 10 students got placement in Maruti with a good package.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostels are very neat and clean. There are distinct accommodations for girls and boys of the university. Mess food quality is average and there is clean water availability on every floor of the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Classrooms are very clean and well-equipped. Latest instruments and machines are available in labs to provide good education for students with practical approach. Separate classrooms are there for every branch. The library is thorough as it has many good national and international books. The students can issue them easily with their university ID card. The university has a large playground and many indoor stadiums as well for indoor games like badminton, boxing, etc.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life in Kurukshetra University is awesome. Many events are conducted here on a regular basis. Annual events like ‘Ratnavali’ are conducted every year in October or November. Overall the campus life is very good.

    Kurukshetra University is a State Government University funded by Haryana Government. It's located in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The campus area of the University is approximately 500 acres and it's very beautiful with flowers and trees everywhere. A museum Dharohar is also in the University.
