Overall Rating
BMSCE is located in center of Bangalore city making it very commutable, also having a good amount of nature within it. My seniors have told they even offer 10 LPA packages for good mechanical engineers. The best part being the campus life and the people around you as well. All the teachers use the local language as well as English. Only drawback being all canteens provides only veg food.

Academics Rating
I entered the college through COMEDK as I did not secure a good CET score. My annual fees being about 2 lakh to 2 lakh 50 thousand every year. In the end of the second semester (1st year) students can opt for a course change if they satisfy the minimum CGPA for the same. I took mechanical as my major as I had built some interest in automobiles and also in mechanics of machines overall.

Faculty Rating
The faculty in BMSCE has good percentage of women and men faculty. I personally feel some senior lecturers in mechanical are extremely knowledgeable in various fields of Mechanical Engineering and can guide students in the finest way. Teachers are also very approachable and friendly. Most teachers make up their own self written notes and share it with us students.

Placement Rating
My classmate is one of the members of the placement cell in my college, and frequently updates us with the various companies coming to college. Teachers also conduct workshops for placement training and so on. I will have my placement trails in the coming months.

Hostel Rating
Me being a home scholar, I don’t know much about hostel facilities. Although my friends do stay at the hostels. There are two types of hostels- international and national. The fees for the hostels being about 1.5 lakh for the same.

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is actually overpopulated with buildings and with too much space for parking and so on. But students are not allowed to get their four wheelers inside campus. The newly built 'Platinum Jubilee Block' is a top of class fully air conditioned building, with 3 huge auditoriums and halls. Also all the classes are AC and equipped with smart computers and projectors. They also have the best washrooms too. The campus has about 5 canteens offering all types of veg food.

Campus Rating
The best part of BMSCE is its campus life. The ‘utsav’, the main fest of the college is pretty popular among college fests in Banglore and celebrated well. There are countless number of clubs and committees for the interest of students.
